Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot about this “Golf Triple Crown” thing and, honestly, I was clueless. I mean, I like watching golf, but I’m no expert. So, I decided to figure this whole thing out, once and for all, and maybe even get a little better understanding of the sport I enjoy so much.
Digging into the Basics
First things first, I started with a simple web search. What even is the Triple Crown? Turns out, it’s not an official thing, which is kinda weird. But, generally, people use it refer to winning three of the four majors in men professional Golf.
The four majors are:
- The Masters
- The PGA Championship
- The U.S. Open
- The Open Championship (also known as the British Open)
Figure out who did it.
So after I knew what is it. I began to Search who did it before.I found some guy called “Ben Hogan” archived it in 1953. And after I watched a lot of videos in 1953. I checked out another player Tiger Woods, He also got it in 2000! Man, what a legend!
My Conclusion
The Golf Triple Crown is winning three majors in one year. I am so exciting about it!
