Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Brian Harman, and the sticks he uses to whack that little white ball around. Folks call it “what’s in the bag,” but to me, it’s just what he’s carryin’ to get the job done. You know, like when I go to the market, I got my basket, he’s got his golf bag. Same difference, kinda.
Now, this Brian fella, he ain’t no spring chicken. He’s been at it for a while, over 360 of them fancy golf shows, they call ’em “PGA Tour events.” Sounds like a lot of walkin’ to me. He’s won a few times, which I guess means he’s pretty good. But last year, he really hit the jackpot, winnin’ that big one, the Open Championship. Over there in England, I think. Wet and windy, just like back home when a storm’s brewin’.
So, what’s he got in that bag of his? Well, a bunch of them Titleist clubs, that’s for sure. Titleist, they make good stuff, I hear. He’s got one of them Titleist TSi2 drivers, to smack the ball real far right off the start. Nine degrees, whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ you’d measure on a barn roof, not a golf club, but hey, what do I know? He’s got other Titleist woods and irons too. They say he uses older models, not the newest shiny ones. Maybe he’s like me, likes what he knows and sticks with it. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that.
- Driver: Titleist TSi2 (9 degrees)
- Irons: Mostly Titleist, older models
- Putter: Now, this is where it gets interestin’. He don’t use a Titleist putter. Nope. He uses a TaylorMade Spider OS CB. Looks like a space contraption to me. But hey, if it gets the ball in the hole, who am I to judge?
- Ball: He uses a Titleist Pro V1. That’s the ball everyone wants, I reckon. Gotta be somethin’ special about it.
- Grips: Golf Pride Tour Velvet. Sounds fancy, but I bet they just help you hold on tight, like a good pair of work gloves.
I heard somethin’ funny about this Brian fella. Said he found some contraption lyin’ around his house, and it helped him fix his swing. Can you believe it? Just lyin’ around! Reminds me of that time I found that old wrench in the shed, and it fixed my leaky faucet. Sometimes, the simplest things work best.
He seems like a down-to-earth fella, this Brian. After he won that big championship, he went right back home to his farm in Georgia. Said he was ridin’ in his car, headin’ for his tractor, an excavator they called it. Guess he likes gettin’ his hands dirty, just like the rest of us. Maybe that’s why he’s so good, keeps things simple.
So, that’s the lowdown on Brian Harman’s clubs, as best as I can figure it. A bunch of Titleist stuff, that weird-lookin’ putter, and a good ol’ Titleist ball. And don’t forget that thing he found lyin’ around the house. It all adds up to makin’ him a champion, I guess. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my own chores. This talk about farmin’ has got me thinkin’ about my tomatoes.
Brian Harman’s golf bag is a mix of old and new, just like my toolshed. He’s got the fancy name-brand stuff, and he’s got that odd putter. But the important thing is, it works for him. He knows what he’s doin’ with them clubs, and that’s all that matters.
He’s a Titleist man, mostly. But that TaylorMade putter sticks out like a sore thumb. Maybe he just likes how it feels in his hands. Golfers are particular like that. They get attached to their tools, just like a carpenter and his hammer.
And at the end of the day, whether you’re hittin’ a golf ball or plantin’ corn, it’s all about gettin’ the job done. Brian Harman gets the job done on the golf course, and I get the job done on my farm. We just use different tools, that’s all.
