Okay, so I’ve been hyped for College Football 25 like everyone else. I pre-ordered the standard edition a while back, but then I started seeing all this stuff about the Deluxe Edition and the MVP Bundle. I got serious FOMO (fear of missing out), so I decided to figure out how to upgrade.
It wasn’t super straightforward, which is kinda annoying. I figured, I already bought the standard edition, there should be a quick way to update the per-order. It seems easy enought right?
Turns out, that’s not how they did. What I had to do was completely cancel my existing pre-order for the standard edition. Yup, you heard that right. Had to go through the whole cancellation process.
- First I had to track down my order confirmation email.
- Then I found the tiny “cancel order” section.
- Finally, I got the email saying my cancellation had been processed.
Once that was done (took a few hours to get the confirmation, by the way), I went to get the pre-order of the Deluxe Edition.I hope this little experiment of mine helps anyone else in the same situation!
My Final Thoughts
It is what it is. Just a heads-up for anyone else thinking about upgrading – be prepared to cancel and re-order. It’s a bit of a hassle, but I didn’t found another way arround it!
