Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this “Construction Shop” in Gray Zone Warfare, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. I wanted to build up my base, make it all nice and fortified, you know? So, I figured I’d start with the basics.

First, I had to gather a bunch of resources. I mean, a ton of resources. We’re talking wood, stone, metal scraps – the whole shebang. I spent hours running around, chopping down trees, smashing rocks, and looting abandoned buildings. My inventory was constantly full, and I was making trips back and forth to my stash like a crazy person.
Once I had a decent pile of stuff, I headed over to the Construction Shop. It’s pretty straightforward – you just select what you want to build from the menu. I started with some basic walls, trying to create a perimeter around my little hideout.
But here’s where things got tricky. Placing the walls was a bit… finicky. Sometimes they’d snap into place perfectly, other times they’d be all wonky and clip through the ground. I spent a good chunk of time just fiddling with the placement, trying to get everything lined up right.
My Construction Process
- Gathered: Wood, Stone, Metal. Like a LOT.
- Selected: Basic walls from the Construction Shop menu.
- Placed: Walls with Some,Umm..Difficult.
- Realized: I needed way more resources than I thought.
- Repeat: Back to gathering and try again, again!
Then I realized I needed way more resources than I initially thought. Like, a lot more. So, back to the grind I went, gathering more wood, more stone, more everything. It felt like a never-ending cycle!
Eventually, I managed to get a basic wall structure up. It’s not pretty, but it’s a start. I’m thinking of adding some watchtowers next, but I’m already dreading the resource grind. This whole construction thing is definitely a work in progress, and it’s going to take some serious time and effort to get my base looking the way I want it to.
So, that’s my experience with the Construction Shop so far. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s got potential. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time gathering resources and wrestling with the placement system!
