Alright, so I was messing around with this fantasy football thing, right? And I got stuck on this choice – DeAndre Hopkins or Zay Flowers. It’s like, which one of these guys is gonna get me more points, you know?
So, first, I started digging around. I found this tool, some optimizer thing, that said Flowers was the way to go. It was talking about him getting 12.5 points, catching like 5.8 passes, and running for 52.8 yards. Sounded pretty good, I guess.
Then I found some website where I could put these two guys head-to-head. It was showing all their stats, their projections, which team they’re on, who they’re playing next – the whole nine yards. It was a lot of information, but it helped me see what each guy was about.
I even checked out what some experts were saying. Some were saying to start Flowers, some were saying Hopkins. It was all over the place! One thing I saw was that the Titans, where Hopkins plays, might be throwing the ball more this year. That could mean more points for Hopkins, but who knows?
- Looked up stats: First thing I did was check out their numbers from last season. How many passes did they catch? How many yards did they get? Touchdowns? All that good stuff.
- Compared projections: Then I looked at what people think they’ll do this season. That’s where that optimizer thing came in handy.
- Checked out the experts: I figured, these guys watch football for a living, they must know something, right? So I read what they had to say.
- Thought about the teams: Like I said, if the Titans are throwing more, that could be good for Hopkins. But Flowers’ team might be better overall, so that could mean more chances for him to score.
My Process
After all that, I was still kind of torn. Both of these guys have good things going for them, but they also have some question marks. It’s like, do I go with the established veteran in Hopkins, or the new kid on the block, Flowers?
In the end, I decided to go with Zay Flowers. It was a tough call, but that optimizer thing seemed pretty confident, and I liked his projected numbers. Plus, he’s on a team that I think will be pretty good this year. But hey, I could be totally wrong! That’s the fun of this whole fantasy football thing, right? You never really know what’s gonna happen.
