Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Stewart Hagestad, you know, the golf guy. I heard some folks whisperin’ ’bout him and his “witb,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, huh? Probably just means what kinda sticks he uses to whack them little white balls.
Now, from what I gather, this Stewart ain’t no spring chicken. Born on April the tenth, they say. Don’t know which year, but he’s been around the block a few times, that’s for sure. He went to one of them fancy colleges, Southern California, played golf for them Trojans. Smart fella, got himself a business degree and everything.
But he ain’t no regular golfer, you see. He’s what they call an “amateur.” Means he don’t do it for the money, I guess. He’s got a real job, working at some big shot company, BDT & MSD Partners, they call it. Manage folks’ money, billions of it, or so they say. Heard he even had to ask his boss if he could go play in that there U.S. Mid-Amateur thing. Can you believe that? A grown man askin’ permission to play a game!
But this fella, he’s good at golf, real good. Won that U.S. Mid-Amateur at Stonewall and the Metropolitan Amateur too. They even call him “Master Low Am Stewart Hagestad”. Don’t rightly know what “Master Low Am” means, but it sounds important. He even made the cut at the Masters, first one of them Mid-Amateur fellas to do it in a long time. Folks were surprised, I reckon.
Now, about them sticks he uses, that “witb” thing. I ain’t seen ‘em myself, but I heard tell he uses a long putter. You know, one of them long sticks you use on the green to get the ball in the hole. Why he uses a long one, I don’t know. Maybe he’s got a bad back or somethin’. As for the rest of his clubs, well, that’s a mystery to me and most folks, I reckon. Folks on the internet, they’re curious too. They’re askin’ all over, “What’s in his bag?” Just like me!

Seems like this Stewart fella is a busy man. Workin’ a real job and playin’ golf at a high level. He ain’t your typical golfer, that’s for sure. He ain’t chasing after money or fame, just seems to love the game. And that long putter, well, it must work for him. Wish I knew what else he had in that golf bag of his.
So, that’s the lowdown on Stewart Hagestad, as best as I can tell ya. A smart fella who plays golf real good, even though he’s got a real job. And he uses a long putter. That’s about all I know. If you wanna know more about his “witb,” you’ll have to go ask someone else, ’cause I ain’t got no clue.
People are really curious though, they keep askin’ about what clubs he uses, the irons, the woods, the wedges and all that. Maybe one day we’ll find out the whole story, the whole “witb” of Stewart Hagestad. But for now, it’s a bit of a mystery, just like why folks pay so much for them little white balls.
