When Will That Dragon Thingy, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Come Out?
Alright, alright, lemme tell ya about this Dragon’s Dogma 2 game. Everybody’s been yappin’ about it, and I’m here to tell ya what I know. When’s it comin’ out? Well, that’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? Seems like it’s been forever.
From what I hear, them fancy folks over at that Capcom place, they sayin’ it’s gonna be March 22nd, 2024. That’s what they’re sayin’, but you know how these things go. Sometimes they change their minds, like the weather. One minute it’s sunshine, the next it’s pourin’ rain.

- Time Zones, You See: If you’re over in them Americas, North or South, they might get it a tad earlier, like March 21st. Confusin’, I tell ya!
Now, why’s it takin’ so long? Well, they say the first one came out a long, long time ago. Like, more than ten years! Can ya believe it? Ten years! That’s a long time to be workin’ on somethin’. I reckon they’re tryin’ to make it real good, you know? Not just some slapdash thing. They want it to be special.
I heard some young’uns talkin’ ’bout it down at the store the other day. They were all excited, jabberin’ on about dragons and magic and whatnot. Sounded like a real hoot! But me? I just wanna know when it’s comin’ out so I can tell my grandson. He’s been pesterin’ me somethin’ fierce about it. “Grandma,” he says, “when’s that dragon game comin’ out?” I swear, kids these days!
Why the Wait? A Decade in the Making!
So yeah, ten years. That’s a long time to wait for anything. I mean, heck, I can grow a whole garden of tomatoes in that time! But these game makers, they take their time. They gotta get it just right, I guess. All them fancy graphics and sounds and whatnot. It ain’t like the old days, when a game was just a few dots on a screen. Now they gotta make it look real, like you’re actually there fightin’ dragons and slayin’ monsters.
I tell ya, it’s a whole different world now. Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy video games. We had to make our own fun. We played outside, you know? Climbed trees, played hide-and-seek. But these kids today, they just wanna sit inside and stare at screens all day. I don’t get it, but hey, that’s the way the world is now. Can’t stop progress, I guess.
So, to recap, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is comin’ out on March 22nd, 2024, unless you live in North or South America, then it might be March 21st. And it’s taken so long because they want it to be good, real good. And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens. Them varmints are always gettin’ into somethin’.
Looking Forward: Dragon’s Dogma Release Date Excitement
I gotta say, even though I don’t play these games myself, it’s kind of excitin’ to see how much folks are lookin’ forward to it. It’s like waitin’ for the county fair, but instead of prize-winning pigs, it’s a dragon! My grandson, he’s been showin’ me pictures, all them colorful characters and scary monsters. It’s somethin’ alright. He keeps talkin’ about how amazing it’s gonna be, all the adventures he’s gonna go on.
And it makes me think, maybe there’s somethin’ to these games after all. Maybe it’s like readin’ a good book, takin’ you to another place, lettin’ you be somebody else for a while. We all need a little escape sometimes, I reckon. Whether it’s readin’, or watchin’ a movie, or even fightin’ dragons on a screen. So, I guess I’m kinda lookin’ forward to it too, even if I won’t be the one holdin’ the controller. It’ll be fun to see the joy on my grandson’s face when he finally gets to play it. That’s worth more than all the gold in the kingdom, I tell ya.
So, let’s mark them calendars, folks. March 22nd, or 21st if you’re over in them Americas. It’s gonna be a big day for a lot of folks. And who knows, maybe I’ll even sit down and watch my grandson play for a bit. Maybe I’ll even understand what all the fuss is about. But don’t hold your breath on that one!
