Alright, let me tell you about my adventure trying to replicate some of Drake’s vibes in Puerto Rico. It was a wild ride, lemme tell ya!

So, it all started with me watching some of Drake’s music videos and thinking, “Man, Puerto Rico looks awesome!” The beaches, the nightlife, the overall energy – I wanted a piece of that. I figured, why not try to recreate some of those iconic shots and feelings? Ambitious, I know, but I’m all about throwing myself into the deep end.
First, I did some hardcore Googling. I’m talking hours spent trying to pinpoint the exact locations where Drake shot some of his videos. It wasn’t easy, but I managed to narrow it down to a few key areas in San Juan and some spots along the coast. This was my prep phase – gotta know the terrain, right?
Next, booking the flights and accommodation. I wanted to stay in a place that had that “luxury chill” vibe. Ended up finding a killer Airbnb in Condado with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Perfect spot for some late-night pondering, just like Drake probably does. I packed my bags with some essentials: good camera, stylish clothes (had to look the part, you know?), and a solid playlist of Drake’s hits.
Once I landed in San Juan, the real work began. My first mission was to hit up Old San Juan. I wandered through the cobblestone streets, soaking in the history and trying to find a good backdrop for some photos. I even tried to recreate a few poses I’d seen Drake do in his videos – felt a little silly, but hey, gotta commit! I walked my feet raw trying to find similar spots, but the atmosphere was perfect.
The next day, I rented a car and drove along the coast, searching for those picture-perfect beaches. The goal was to find a secluded spot where I could just chill and capture the essence of those carefree moments you see in Drake’s stuff. Found a pretty decent beach near Luquillo. Spent a few hours there, listening to music, taking photos, and just vibing. It wasn’t exactly the same as being in a multi-million dollar music video, but I got close!
Of course, no Drake experience is complete without some nightlife. I hit up a few bars in San Juan. The music was great, the people were friendly, and the drinks were strong. I even tried my hand at some dancing – let’s just say I’m no Drake on the dance floor, but I had a blast.
Now, I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t exactly turn into Drake overnight. The whole experience was more about immersing myself in the culture, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and pushing myself outside my comfort zone. And documenting the hell out of it, of course! I shot a ton of photos and videos, and pieced together a little montage of my own “Drake in Puerto Rico” adventure. It’s a fun memory and a reminder to just go for it, you know?
Was it a perfect recreation? Nah. But did I have an amazing time and learn a lot about myself and Puerto Rico? Absolutely. Sometimes, it’s not about achieving perfection, it’s about the journey and the memories you make along the way. And who knows, maybe next time I’ll get even closer to capturing that Drake magic!

So, that was my “Drake in Puerto Rico” escapade. Hope you enjoyed hearing about it. Now, who’s got suggestions for my next adventure?
