Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my fantasy football lineup, and I’ve got this dilemma: Zay Flowers or Rashee Rice? Both are looking pretty good, but I could only pick one for my flex spot. So, I dove in to figure this thing out.

First, I checked out their stats from the last few games. I wanted to see who was getting more targets, receptions, you know, the whole nine yards. I jotted down their numbers in my notebook – yes, I’m old school like that. I even made little charts to compare.
Then, I started looking at their matchups for this week. Who are they playing against? Are the opposing defenses any good against wide receivers? Does the opposing cornerback travel? These are all things I put into consideration.
- Zay Flowers: He’s been pretty consistent, getting a decent number of targets. But, his team is playing a tough defense this week.
- Rashee Rice: He’s been a little more up and down, but he had a HUGE game last week. Their opponent is a little weaker against the pass.
After gathering all that, I started reading some expert opinions. What do the “pros” think? I scrolled through a bunch of articles and listened to a couple of podcasts. Some were leaning towards Flowers, others towards Rice. It’s still hard for me to make up my mind.
Finally, I just went with my gut. Numbers are important, but sometimes you just have to trust your instincts, right? I’ve decided to start…drum roll…Rashee Rice! He’s got the better matchup, and after that big game last week, I’m hoping he’s got the hot hand. It’s a bit of a gamble, but hey, that’s what makes fantasy football fun!
My Final Decision
So that is how I decided to start Rice this week! We’ll see how it plays out. Wish me luck, and if you have either of these guys, good luck to you too! Hope it’s a good week for all of us.
