Okay, so I saw this question popping up everywhere: “Did Austin McBroom play in the NBA?” I was curious too, so I decided to do some digging. It’s kinda confusing because he’s known for YouTube and social media stuff, not exactly pro basketball.

First, I went straight to the source, or what I thought was the source. I started searching for “Austin McBroom NBA stats.” I figured if he played, there’d be official records, right?
Well, that didn’t turn up much. I found a bunch of articles about his college basketball career. He played for Eastern Washington University, and apparently, he was pretty good! I saw some highlights – the guy can definitely handle the ball.

- Scoured Sports News Sites: I looked through ESPN, Bleacher Report, and other sports news sites. I found tons of stuff about his college days and that celebrity basketball game, but no mention of an NBA career.
- Dug into Social Media: Of Course I also Search his social media, Still Nothing.
So, after all this digging, I’m pretty confident in saying that Austin McBroom did NOT play in the NBA. He had a solid college basketball career, and he’s clearly athletic, but he never made it to the pros. It looks like he found his success in a different arena – the internet!
