Alright, so, I tried out the 4.8 Abyss in Genshin Impact, and boy, was it something else. I gotta share my experience ’cause it was a wild ride.
First off, I jumped in, thinking I knew what I was doing. I mean, I’ve been playing for a while now, right? So, I picked my usual go-to teams, the ones that have never let me down before. I thought, “Piece of cake, I got this.” But oh boy, was I in for a surprise.
I started with my trusty National Team. You know the drill: Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett, and Sucrose. These guys usually shred everything, but this Abyss was a whole different beast. The first half went okay-ish. I mean, I cleared it, but it took longer than I expected. The mobs were tankier, and they hit way harder than I remembered.
Then came the second half. That’s where things got real messy. My Raiden hypercarry team got absolutely wrecked. I’m talking about Raiden, Kazuha, Bennett, and Kujou Sara. They usually just nuke everything in sight, but this time, not so much. The enemies had these weird shields, and they kept teleporting around like crazy. It was a nightmare. I tried different strats, switched up the order, even tried using food buffs, but nothing seemed to work. My characters were dropping like flies.
After a bunch of failed attempts, I decided to take a break. I went online, browsed through some forums, and watched a few videos to see what other folks were doing. Turns out, I wasn’t the only one struggling. A lot of people were saying that this Abyss was particularly tough, and some even called it one of the hardest ones yet.
I saw a few team comps that caught my eye. One was a freeze team with Ayaka, Shenhe, Kazuha, and Kokomi. I have all those characters, so I thought, “Why not?” I gave it a shot, and it was a game-changer. Ayaka’s burst just melted through those annoying shields, and Kokomi kept everyone alive with her healing. It still wasn’t easy, but it was definitely doable.
For the other half, I tried a geo team I saw someone mention. Zhongli, Albedo, Itto, and Gorou. I had to level up Itto and Gorou a bit, but it was worth it. Zhongli’s shield made everything so much easier, and Itto’s damage was insane. Plus, Gorou’s buffs made everyone hit even harder. It was a slow and steady approach, but it worked.
Here’s what my final teams looked like:
- First Half: Ayaka, Shenhe, Kazuha, Kokomi
- Second Half: Zhongli, Albedo, Itto, Gorou
It took a lot of tries, and a lot of adjustments, but I finally managed to clear the 4.8 Abyss with full stars. It was a humbling experience, to say the least. It reminded me that I still have a lot to learn about this game and that sometimes, you gotta switch things up and try new strategies. And hey, that’s what makes it fun, right?
So, if you’re struggling with the 4.8 Abyss, don’t give up! Try out different teams, experiment with different characters, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. It’s a tough one, but it’s definitely beatable. Good luck, and may your pulls be blessed!
