Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this game, Genshin Impact, right? It’s this huge open-world thing, and I got into this whole questline involving a character named Tailleferre. She’s a musician, which I thought was pretty cool, and she’s all into these ancient tunes. It got interesting quickly.
I started digging into the quests related to her. First, I had to do these two quests: “Echoes of the Ancient World” and “Canticles of Harmony”. I ran around, did what the game told me, and finally, I could talk to Tailleferre. Not just once, but twice. It’s kind of a pain, but it’s important. After a few chats, she sends me on this mission to find a “Restored Score.”
Now, the game has all these mechanics, like fighting, exploring, and puzzles, and this quest had a bit of everything. I had to figure out this music puzzle, which was a part of the “Fundamentals of Music” thing. It wasn’t super hard, but it took some time to get what I needed to get done.
Once I got the Restored Score, I went back to Petrichor, this town in the game, to find Tailleferre. I gave her the score, and boom, I unlocked this achievement called “The Flying Outlander.” Plus, I got some extra goodies, which is always nice.
- First step: Complete “Echoes of the Ancient World” and “Canticles of Harmony” quests.
- Second step: Talk to Tailleferre twice in Petrichor.
- Third step: Find the Restored Score by completing the “Fundamentals of Music” objective.
- Fourth step: Return to Petrichor and give the Restored Score to Tailleferre.
- Fifth step: Unlock “The Flying Outlander” achievement and get rewards.
It was a bit of a grind, not gonna lie. I feel like the game has tons of these little side quests where some NPC asks you to do them a favor. But, it was cool to see how it all tied together with Tailleferre’s interest in ancient music. Plus, getting that achievement felt pretty good. There is so much content in this game, and I’m just scratching the surface. I’ve been checking out character builds and tier lists online, which is a whole other rabbit hole. There’s a lot to learn, but I’m taking it one step at a time. It’s a neat world they’ve built, and I’m having a blast exploring it bit by bit.
Oh, and I found out that Tailleferre is actually based on a real-life composer from a group called Les Six, which is pretty neat. It’s like the game’s creators put in these little historical nods, and I’m all for it.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with Tailleferre in Genshin Impact. It wasn’t too tough, but it was definitely a fun little detour from the main storyline. Now, I’m off to find what other secrets this game has hidden away!
