Okay, so the other day I was messing around, trying to figure out how many Primogems I could realistically hoard before the next banner I wanted in Genshin Impact. I got tired of doing the math in my head, you know? So, I decided to build a simple wish calculator. Nothing fancy, just something to help me track my progress.

First, I grabbed a pen and paper. Yeah, I’m old school like that sometimes. I jotted down all the ways I usually get Primogems:
- Daily Commissions (60, duh)
- Events (variable, but I estimated)
- Spiral Abyss (depends on how well I do)
- Exploration (totally random, but fun!)
- Achievements (the occasional surprise)
- Web events/redeem codes(It’s also a surprise.)
Then, I opened up a simple text editor. No need for a fancy IDE for this.I first write the imformation I just record on the paper.
I started typing. I’m not a pro coder or anything,Just some really basic calculations, like:
- Total Primogems = (Daily Commissions Number of Days) + Estimated Event Primogems + …and so on.
After I finished the basic frame,I test * some easy data to check the * worked well.
I kept adding to it. Like, a section to input how many Primogems and Intertwined Fates I already have. Then, a little thing to calculate how many wishes that translates to (Pity count, don’t fail me now!).
It’s still super basic, my Genshin wish calculator. But hey, it does the job! It helps me visualize my Primogem saving journey, and that’s all I really needed. Now I can obsessively check my Primogem count with a little more… precision. Or maybe just more often. It is a useful tool.I can know how many wishes I have.
