Alright guys, so I wanted to get into Gray Zone Warfare, and like everyone else, I was totally lost on where to find those LZs. So, I started digging around.

First, I just jumped into the game, you know, the usual way. Picked my faction, got my gear, and figured I’d just stumble upon them. Yeah, that didn’t work out so well. I spent a good hour just running around, getting shot at, and generally achieving nothing.
Then I figured, “Okay, time to use the internet!” I checked some forums and stuff, saw some maps with locations marked, but they were all, like, super vague. Coordinates, you know? I’m not a GPS unit!
My Way
So here’s what actually worked for me, after I wasted all that time:
- Talk to people! Seriously, just ask in the in-game chat. Some folks are super helpful and will straight-up tell you where to go. Don’t be shy.
- Look for smoke. No, seriously. Sometimes you can see smoke signals from a distance, which can indicate an active LZ. Head towards the smoke, but be careful, it also means other players are probably nearby.
- Explore the edges of the map. A lot of the LZs tend to be along the borders. I found a couple just by systematically working my way around the map edges. It’s tedious, but it worked.
- Use landmarks. Once you find one LZ, really pay attention to what’s around it. Is there a particular building? A weird rock formation? Use that to remember the location, and to help explain it to others if they ask.
I made my own little map, marking down each LZ as I found it, with notes on what was nearby. It’s not pretty, but it’s way better than those fancy coordinate maps I found online.
Honestly, finding these LZs was a pain at first, a real learning experience. But after a while, you start to get a feel for where they might be. It’s like a sixth sense, or maybe just good old-fashioned pattern recognition. Just keep playing, keep exploring, and don’t be afraid to ask for help! Good hunting!
