I was just watching some college football the other day, and it got me thinking about the upcoming NFL draft. There’s this quarterback, Haynes King, who’s been making some noise.
So, I started digging into this guy’s career. I went to Georgia Tech’s website, saw that he used to play for Texas A&M. Three seasons there, apparently, before he switched over. I checked out a couple of sports news sites, like ESPN and some draft-focused ones. I mean, they all had profiles on him, stats, the usual.
- I watched a bunch of his highlight reels too, you know, just to see him in action. Some of the throws this guy makes, seriously impressive.
- I also read up on some game summaries, like that one where Georgia Tech beat Georgia State. King threw a couple of touchdowns and even ran one in himself.
Now, I’m no draft expert, but it seems like he had a pretty good 2023. I saw on a recruiting website that he threw for almost 3,000 yards. That’s not too shabby. I stumbled upon some fan forums where people were talking about him, saying he might be a sleeper pick. Some even said he has two years of eligibility left, but who knows if he’ll declare for the draft this year.
After a few hours of this, I felt like I had a decent grasp of who Haynes King is, at least as a football player. I even browsed through some NFL team depth charts. It’s just interesting to see where a guy like him might fit in.
In the end, I didn’t come to any solid conclusions about his draft stock. It’s all speculation at this point. But it was fun to dive into his stats and see what the buzz is about. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens in the draft!
