Okay, so I’ve been messing around with these two AI models, Higgins and Addison, trying to figure out which one works best for my needs. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, to be honest.

First, I started with Higgins. I had heard good things, you know? People were saying it was super powerful, great for all sorts of tasks. So, I jumped right in. I spent a good few hours just feeding it different prompts, playing with the settings. I tried everything from writing simple emails to generating some basic code snippets. I even tried making a short story which talk about a dog who live in the forest.
- The Good: Higgins is definitely powerful. It can generate some pretty impressive text, especially for more complex tasks.
- The Bad: It felt a bit… clunky. Sometimes the responses were a little off, or it would get stuck in weird loops. It didn’t always feel natural, you know?
After a while, I figured I’d give Addison a shot. I didn’t know much about it, but hey, why not?
Switching gears, I started throwing the same prompts at Addison. I tweaked the same knobs and buttons, tried the same email, code, short story, everything.
- The Good: Addison felt way more intuitive. The responses just flowed better, and it seemed to “get” what I was asking for more easily.
- The Bad: It didn’t seem quite as powerful as Higgins for some of the really complex stuff. But, honestly, the difference wasn’t huge.
My Verdict (For Now)
So, after all that experimenting and tinkering, where did I land? Honestly, I’m leaning towards Addison. Even though Higgins might have a slight edge in raw power, Addison’s ease of use and more natural-feeling responses just make it a better fit for my everyday workflow. I found a better experence of use.
It’s like, Higgins is the heavy-duty truck, and Addison is the smooth, comfortable sedan. I don’t need to haul a ton of bricks every day, so I’ll take the smooth ride.
Of course, I’ll probably keep playing with both. Things change, models get updated, and my needs might shift. But for now, Addison is my go-to.
