Okay, so I was super hyped for the new Honkai Star Rail update, but I had absolutely no clue when it was actually going to drop. I’m on PST, and all the official announcements just say the date, not the specific time. Typical, right?

Figuring Out the Update Time
First, I checked the official Honkai Star Rail social media accounts. I scrolled through Twitter, Facebook, and even their official website. Lots of buzz about the new features, but nothing specific about the PST release time. Ugh.
Then, I hit up some gaming forums and communities. You know, places where the real dedicated fans hang out. I figured someone there would have the inside scoop or at least have done the calculations based on previous updates.
I found a couple of threads discussing it, and a few people were saying that the updates usually happen around the same time, regardless of time zone. So, I dug a little deeper.
- I looked for past update announcements.
- I compared the announced time to the actual time I remembered the update going live.
- I started noticing a pattern.
Most of the time, the updates would go live pretty late at night for those of us on the West Coast. It was usually sometime between 8 PM and 11 PM PST. Based on my rough estimates, it seemed most likely to happen around 10 PM or 11 PM PST.
So, I set a reminder on my phone for 9:50 PM PST, just to be safe. I didn’t want to miss it and have to wait even longer to play!
And guess what? I was pretty much spot-on. When I got home, I did something else, and I checked back around 10:30 PM, and bam! The update was ready to download. Success!
So, yeah, that’s how I figured out the Honkai Star Rail update time in PST. Basically, a little bit of detective work, some help from the community, and a dash of educated guessing. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some new content to explore!
