Alright, let’s talk about snagging those free puzzle pieces in Monopoly Go. Man, when those partner events pop up, everyone’s scrambling, right? Me included. I needed to finish building whatever gadget we were working on, and that means finding pieces.

My Hunt for Pieces
So, first thing I did, pretty much automatic now, is just logging in each day. You get those little daily treats, and sometimes, maybe like once or twice during the event, they actually threw in a few puzzle pieces. Not a lot, but hey, it’s zero effort.
Next up, I made sure to hammer the Quick Wins. I try to do these every day anyway for the dice, but when a partner event is running, they often swap out some rewards for puzzle pieces. So, yeah, completed all of those. Usually got a decent little pile of pieces from that over a few days.
Then there’s the main event that usually runs alongside the partner thing. You know, the ones at the top of the screen where you collect tokens from landing on certain board squares? That’s where a big chunk came from. I basically just played the game, rolled a lot of dice, trying to land on those pickup tiles. As you hit milestones in that event, you get rewards, and guess what? More puzzle pieces.
- Logged in daily.
- Completed all Quick Wins.
- Focused on the main board event for tokens/milestones.
Other Stuff I Tried
Of course, there’s the partner wheel itself. You spin, your partner spins. Sometimes you land directly on puzzle pieces. That’s pure luck, though. Can’t really plan for that, but it helps when it happens. Also helps if your partners are actually active and spinning too.
I also kinda kept half an eye on the official Monopoly Go spots online. Heard folks talking about checking their main page or whatever community hubs they use. Sometimes they announce giveaways or little freebies. Didn’t personally see any direct puzzle piece giveaways floating around this time when I looked, but it felt like something I should at least check, you know?
Oh, and don’t forget the free gift box that pops up in the shop every eight hours or so. Usually it’s just a tiny bit of dice or cash, but during the event, I swear I got puzzle pieces from it once or twice. Worth clicking whenever you see it ready.
So, Did It Work?
Yeah, mostly. Between the daily logins, the quick wins, grinding the main event, the partner spins, and the random free shop gift, I managed to collect a good amount of pieces without spending actual money. It wasn’t exactly ‘free’ in terms of time and the mountain of dice I burned through, let’s be real. But it’s doable if you’re active during the event. There isn’t some secret trick I found, it’s mostly just playing the game consistently when the event is on. That’s how I got mine.
