Okay, so I’ve been a WWE fan for like, forever. And one question that always pops up, especially when I’m trying to plan my week, is “how long is WWE Raw?” It seems like a simple question, but sometimes it felt like it varied, and I wanted the definitive answer. So, I did a little digging and here’s what I went through.

My Quest for the Raw Runtime
First, I checked the official WWE website. I figured, who better to tell me than the source, right? I scrolled through schedules, looked at upcoming events, but I couldn’t find a clear, consistent answer for just the length of the show itself. Lots of info about start times and pre-shows, but not the actual runtime I need.
Next, I hit up some wrestling forums and fan sites. I figured these guys are dedicated, they must know. I read through threads, saw some people saying “around 3 hours,” others saying “it depends,” and some even saying “with commercials, it feels like forever!” Not exactly helpful, but it gave me a general ballpark.
So, to get a more solid answer, I decided to do some firsthand observation. I grabbed my remote, made some snacks, and settled in for a few weeks of Raw. I started my stopwatch when the opening pyro hit and stopped it at the very end, when the screen was black.
The Results Are In!
Here’s what I found after my highly scientific, very serious research (haha):
- Most of the time, Raw runs for about three hours. That’s from the actual start of the show to the very end, excluding any pre-show shenanigans.
- sometimes it’s a little over three hours, maybe by 5 or 10 minutes.
- I also noticed that sometimes it a littler shorter, but that was pretty rare.
So, there you have it. If you’re planning your Monday night around Raw, block out about three hours of your time. You might get a few extra minutes, you might get a tiny bit less, but three hours is a pretty safe bet. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some wrestling to watch!
