Alright, so I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter online about the Buffalo Bills and their Super Bowl record. People keep asking, “how many super bowls have the buffalo bills won?” So, I figured I’d dig into it myself and see what’s what. It’s kinda wild, honestly.
First, I hit up the usual spots, just to get a general idea. You know, the basic sports news sites and stuff. And what did I find? Well, it’s a bit of a sad story, folks. The Bills have been to the Super Bowl not once, not twice, but FOUR times! Can you believe that? Four times in a row, from 1990 to 1993.

They lost to the Giants, then the Redskins (now Commanders), and then the Cowboys not once, but twice! It’s like a curse or something. I mean, imagine being a Bills fan back then. You’re on top of the world, going to the Super Bowl every year, and then…bam! Heartbreak. Four times over.
And I’m not sure, but in Super Bowl XXVI the Redskins defeated the Bills 37-24, and it is on Jan. 26, 1992.
I even checked out some lists of Super Bowl winners, you know, just to double-check. And, of course, the Bills weren’t on them. It’s wild to me that a team could be so good for so long and still not have that championship ring.
Then, I thought about it, how many teams did they win a Super Bowl? For example, I found out that Bill Belichick, one of the greatest coaches, had won an NFL-record eight Super Bowls. But for the Buffalo Bills, sadly, they didn’t win any Super Bowl.
So, there you have it. The Buffalo Bills, a team with a crazy impressive record of getting to the Super Bowl four times in a row, but unfortunately, with a big ol’ zero in the win column. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but hey, that’s sports for ya. It just goes to show, getting there is half the battle, but winning it all is a whole other beast.
