Well, let me tell ya, if ya lookin’ for a good ol’ gun to carry around in Destiny 2, that Perpetualis Auto Rifle sure ain’t a bad choice. This here rifle ain’t the strongest thing in the world, but it’s got some mighty fine perks that make it a solid pick for certain situations, ‘specially if you’re playin’ with them Strand subclasses. Now, don’t go expectin’ it to be the absolute best in every type of playin’, but it can get the job done just fine.
Now, you might be wonderin’ where you can get this rifle, huh? Well, this one’s a bit of a special fella. If you wanna get your hands on the Perpetualis, you gotta jump into them Defiant Battlegrounds activities. That’s right, you gotta go over to the Helm and put in the work there. It ain’t somethin’ you can just buy off the shelf, no sir. You gotta earn it.
Let me tell ya, I’ve seen a lot of folks runnin’ around with them Summoner, Chroma Rush, and Gnawing Hunger rifles, but the Perpetualis, well, it holds its own. It might not be the king of the sandbox right now, especially with them other rifles all pumpin’ out damage, but it’s still a good gun for both PvE and PvP if you know how to use it right. For the folks out there who ain’t too good at them fancy moves, this rifle can make ya feel like a real pro.
Now, as for them perks, well, this here Perpetualis rifle shines brightest when you pair it with them Strand subclasses. If you’re workin’ with that, you’re gonna find yourself able to take down them enemies quicker than a rooster at dawn. The synergy between the perks and the Strand powers just works, y’know? Helps you dish out damage while stayin’ alive a little longer.
That said, don’t get too comfy with it, because this rifle ain’t the only one out there that’s good for takin’ down bad guys. You still got them other rifles like the Summoner and them Chroma Rushes, but they all got their own ways of excelling. The Summoner, for example, is a bit of a powerhouse when it comes to damage, but the Perpetualis gives ya a little more flexibility, especially in them tougher fights.
If you’re lookin’ to get real technical, some folks will say this rifle’s a B-tier for PvP. Now, I don’t know what that means exactly, but I reckon it means it’s good, but not the best. You might not be blowin’ everyone away in PvP, but in PvE, you might find yourself really appreciate the Perpetualis rifle, especially when you’re takin’ on big groups of enemies. It’s solid for clearin’ out hordes, but not so much for single target damage. But hey, sometimes you just need a good ol’ gun that can handle a bunch of enemies at once, right?
And I’ll tell ya this, there’s a lotta folks who still don’t quite understand how this rifle works in the grand scheme of things, but it’s one of them guns that grows on ya. Maybe it ain’t got the best stats or the most damage, but it does what it’s meant to do. You ain’t always gotta have the biggest, baddest weapon if it gets the job done.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a reliable rifle that won’t disappoint too much, the Perpetualis just might be what you need. But ya gotta put in the work to get it, and it might not be the best at everything, but it’s got some mighty fine qualities if you use it right. And ain’t that what really matters in the end?
