Alright, let’s talk about this Bobby Lashley fella. Folks been askin’, “Did Bobby Lashley left to be?” Well, that ain’t proper English, but I get what ya mean. You wanna know where he went, right?
What happened to Bobby Lashley? Seems like he ain’t been around WWE for a spell. Last time I saw him wrasslin’ was back in May, May 5th to be exact, 2024. He was always a strong one, that Bobby. Muscles like a bull, he had. But then, poof! Gone like a fart in the wind.
Now, I heard tell he had some plans. Wanted to help some other wrestlers get famous, you know, put ‘em over, as they say. But things didn’t work out, seems like. His contract, that paper they sign, well, it ran out. They say it happened earlier this year, in 2024. And when that happens, well, you’re free to go, I guess.
WWE, they made it official, you see. Moved him and that MVP fella, Montel Vontavious Porter, to the “alumni” section on their website. Alumni, that’s like when you graduate school, but you ain’t there no more. You’re an old-timer, kinda like me, I suppose. Except I never wrestled nobody.
- Bobby’s Contract Expired: This is a big reason why he left. No more contract, no more Bobby in WWE.
- He Wanted to Help Other Wrestlers: He had plans, that Bobby, but things didn’t go his way.
- WWE Moved Him to Alumni Section: That’s like sayin’, “He’s gone, but we remember him.”
I also heard he was talkin’ about it, breakin’ his silence, they called it. He was on some show, The Laboratory with Plaz, I think. Probably complainin’ about somethin’, these young fellas always got somethin’ to complain about.
And there was somethin’ about a shoulder injury way back when, 2007, they said. He kept workin’ with it, tough guy he was, but then he had to get surgery. And WWE, they got mad, see? Said they spent all that time and money on him, and now he was gonna be out. That’s how businesses are, always thinkin’ about money. So, things got sour, and he asked to leave in 2008. But that was a long time ago, he came back after that.
Now, there’s talk about him goin’ to AEW. That’s another wrasslin’ place, different from WWE. People thought he’d show up at their big show, WrestleDream 2024. He left WWE around SummerSlam, they say, and signed a contract with AEW. So, maybe that’s where he went. Guess he wanted somethin’ new.
As for that MVP, Montel Vontavious Porter, he ain’t wrestlin’ much no more either. He’s doin’ other stuff behind the scenes, producin’ and such. Maybe he got tired of gettin’ thrown around. Can’t blame him, my old bones would be achin’ too.
So, “did Bobby Lashley left to be?” Well, it sounds like he left WWE ‘cause his contract ended and maybe he wanted somethin’ different. He might be wrestlin’ in AEW now. That’s the long and short of it, as far as I can tell. These wrasslers, they come and go like the seasons. One day they’re here, the next they’re gone. Just like my chickens, sometimes they wander off and ya gotta go find ‘em. But that’s life, ain’t it?
Is Bobby Lashley done with wrestling? I don’t think so. He’s probably just movin’ on to somethin’ new. Wrestlers, they don’t just quit, they just find a new place to rumble. He’s still young enough and strong enough, that Bobby.
Will he come back to WWE? Who knows? Maybe someday. But for now, it seems like he’s found a new home in AEW. And that’s alright. As long as he’s happy and gettin’ paid, that’s all that matters, right?
So there ya have it. The story of Bobby Lashley, as best as this old woman can tell it. He left WWE, and now he might be somewhere else. Life goes on, and so does wrasslin’.
