Man, I gotta tell you guys about this whole Jackson Holliday rookie card thing I got into. It all started when I was just browsing around, looking for something to collect. I’ve always been into baseball, and I heard this Holliday kid was supposed to be the next big thing. So, I figured, why not try to snag one of his rookie cards?
First, I did what any reasonable person would do – I started Googling. I typed in “Jackson Holliday rookie card” and just dove into whatever came up. It wasn’t long before I realized there’s a ton of different cards out there. This kid is everywhere! Like, Bowman Draft, Topps Chrome, all these brands I hadn’t thought about in years. It was kinda overwhelming, honestly.
But I pressed on. I started checking out some of the online marketplaces. I looked everywhere, comparing prices, checking out the different designs, the whole nine yards. Some of these cards were going for crazy money! I mean, we’re talking hundreds, even thousands, for some of the rarer ones.
My Rookie Card Hunt
I narrowed it down to a few that seemed cool and wouldn’t totally break the bank. I mean, I’m not made of money, you know? I ended up focusing on a few different series. I liked the look of the Bowman Chrome ones, and I saw a lot of people talking about Donruss and Prizm too. I was like, OK, these seem like the ones to go for. The people are saying the ROI was amazing. I think that’s Return on Investment. But whatever it means, I was on board.
After a whole lot of searching and comparing, I finally settled on a 2022 Bowman Draft 1st Chrome card. I mean, there are just so many! I don’t know how many cards a player can have, but I think Jackson has about a million. I was mostly just trying to make sure I was getting an actual rookie card, and these are the ones I landed on. And guess what? It was even autographed! I snagged it for a decent price, too, considering what some of the others were going for. I was stoked!

- Found out there are tons of different cards: Bowman, Topps, Donruss, Prizm, etc.
- Checked out online marketplaces and compared prices.
- Narrowed it down to Bowman Chrome, Donruss, and Prizm.
- Finally bought a 2022 Bowman Draft 1st Chrome autographed card.
Now, I’m just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I’m pretty excited, not gonna lie. It’s like a little piece of baseball history, you know? And who knows, maybe this Holliday kid will become a superstar, and this card will be worth a fortune someday. Or maybe not. Either way, it’s been a fun little adventure, and I’m happy with my purchase. I’ll let y’all know when it gets here!
It’s wild to think how much these little pieces of cardboard can be worth. It all depends on who the player is, how well they do, and how rare the card is. From what I have seen, a rookie card is worth more than a card made later in their career. I’m no expert, but that’s just what I’ve picked up from this whole experience. This collecting stuff is no joke!
