The Process
I started by looking up the general basketball websites. I needed to find the section for player contracts or salaries. It’s usually somewhere in the stats or player profile area. I’m just guessing though.
Once I found a good website, I searched for “Jeff Green.” His profile should have a history of his contracts with different teams over the years. I’ll add them all up.
So, I’m looking at each contract, writing down the team, the years, and the total amount he was paid for each one. It’s a bit of work, but it’s kinda interesting to see how his earnings have changed over time.
Adding It All Up
After I got all the contracts down, I just used a calculator (my phone, actually) to add up all the dollar amounts. That gave me the total career earnings. Simple, but need to be careful not making mistakes.
My Conclusion
It’s really that simple to get the total number. Just keep in mind these are just the earnings from his NBA contracts. It doesn’t include things like endorsements or other income. Just simply added them up.
