Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this “Once Human” game, the one they’re all yappin’ about. Heard it’s some kinda survival thing, you know, like fightin’ and scavengin’ and all that. They’re callin’ it “pre-register” now, which I guess means you sign up early or somethin’. Don’t really get all these fancy words, but hey, if it means gettin’ a leg up, I’m all for it.
So, from what I gather, this Once Human game is like the world gone crazy. Like, real crazy. Not just the usual “oh, the cows got out” crazy, but like, monsters and weird stuff everywhere. They say it’s “SCP-inspired,” whatever that means. Sounds spooky, like them ghost stories my grandma used to tell. But hey, I ain’t scared of no ghosts… much.
They’re sayin’ you gotta fight to stay alive. Makes sense, I guess. If somethin’s tryin’ to eat ya, ya gotta fight back. Reminds me of that time a raccoon tried to steal my cornbread. Let me tell ya, that raccoon didn’t know what hit ’em. This game, though, it ain’t just raccoons, it’s all sorts of creepy crawlies and who-knows-what-else.
- First off, you gotta install somethin’ called “TestFlight.” Sounds like a plane, but I guess it’s somethin’ for your phone or whatever you’re gonna play on.
- Then, they send you an email or a link, and you gotta click it. Like them chain letters, but hopefully this one won’t curse ya.
- Once you’re in, you gotta build stuff, find food, and fight off them monsters. Just like livin’ on a farm, but with more teeth and claws.
- And get this, there’s a level thing. Level 50 is the highest, they say. After that, there’s more stuff to do, but I ain’t quite sure what. Guess I’ll figure it out when I get there.
Now, this “pre-register” thing… they’re makin’ a big deal outta it. Sayin’ if you sign up now, you get special stuff. Gifts, they call ’em. Like a fancy phone, a “Steam Deck” – whatever that is – and other goodies. Sounds like a good deal, I reckon. Free stuff is always nice, especially when you’re tryin’ to survive a monster apocalypse.
They’re also saying it’s “cross-platform,” which I think means you can play it on your phone, your computer, or whatever else you got. That’s handy. Means I can play it while I’m waitin’ for the kettle to boil or when the chickens are takin’ too long to lay their eggs.
This whole thing starts on May 22nd, so if you’re interested, you better hurry up and sign up. I already did, of course. Can’t miss out on a chance to fight some monsters and maybe win a fancy phone. Heck, maybe I’ll even learn what this “SCP” stuff is all about. Though, if it’s anything like them city folks and their fancy talk, I might just stick to whacking things with a stick. Always worked for me before.
This Once Human pre-registration is ending soon, from what I heard that old farmer Jeb sayin’ down at the market. Said everyone who signs up gets some rewards when the game starts up for good. So even if you ain’t sure about playing, might as well sign up and get somethin’ for your trouble. Never hurts to have a little somethin’ extra, ya know?
So yeah, that’s the gist of it. Once Human, pre-register, fight monsters, get stuff. Sounds like a good time to me. Now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go sharpen my hoe. Just in case them monsters decide to come visitin’ my farm. You never know these days.
