Man, you wouldn’t believe the day I had yesterday, trying to dig up some info on J.T. Realmuto’s wife. You know, the Phillies’ catcher, right? I’ve always been curious about the folks behind the scenes, so I dove into this little project.
So, first things first, I started with the basics. Her name is Alexis Taylor. I found out that she was born in Oklahoma, back in October 1989, which is pretty cool. She’s a bit of a mystery, though. Alexis really likes to keep her life private, which I totally respect.
I kept digging, trying to piece together her story. I mean, this is the wife of a renowned MLB player we’re talking about! From what I gathered, she’s all about elegance and grace, but she really prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Honestly, I can’t say I blame her.
Then, I stumbled upon some news about the Realmuto family. Apparently, even with J.T.’s recent injury report, they’ve got some awesome things happening. I learned that they have four kids together! I was like, “Wow, that’s a full house!”
- First, there’s Gracie Laine, the oldest daughter, born in July 2018.
- Then came Willa Mae, another little girl, born in July 2019.
- Their first son, Cash Taylor, was born in November 2021.
- And the youngest, another boy named Zane Tyler, was born in March 2023.
I also found out that during the baseball season, the Realmutos live in Haddonfield, New Jersey. But in the offseason, they head back to Oklahoma City. Oh, and they’re Christians, which is a nice little detail about their family life.
And because I was already on a roll, I checked out J.T.’s contract details with the Phillies. He signed a five-year deal for $115.5 million! His average salary is around $23.1 million. That’s some serious dough. I read that it was the highest average salary for a catcher when he signed it.
So yeah, that was my day, turning into a bit of a detective to learn about Alexis Taylor and the Realmuto family. It’s pretty cool to see how much is going on behind the scenes with these folks, even though they keep things pretty low-key. Just thought I’d share my little adventure with you all!
