Alright, so today I’m gonna walk you through this thing I was messing with – Kevin Owens. Yeah, the wrestler. Don’t ask. I had this weird idea, and I just ran with it.

First off, I grabbed a bunch of images. Google, you know the drill. Made sure they were decent quality, different angles, the whole shebang. Needed enough to work with.
Then, I fired up my usual software. Nothing fancy, just the stuff I’m comfortable with. I loaded all the images in. This part always takes a while, especially when you’re dealing with a lot of files.
Next, the real fun began. I started cutting out Kevin Owens from each picture. Tedious, I know, but gotta do it. Tried to be as precise as possible, get all the little details right. This alone took a couple of hours, maybe more. I honestly lost track.
After that, I cleaned up the edges, smoothed things out, you know, made him look less like he was ripped from a magazine. This is where you really see if your initial cut-out job was any good. Some needed a lot of work, others not so much.
Now, I had a bunch of isolated Kevin Owens images. Cool, but what to do with them? That’s when I started playing around with backgrounds. Just random stuff, nothing too serious. Space, cityscapes, a beach, you name it.
I spent a lot of time adjusting the colors, shadows, and lighting to make him fit into each background. This is where things got interesting. Some combos looked terrible, others actually worked really well.
Then I started messing with filters. Black and white, sepia, that weird one that makes everything look like a painting. Just seeing what looked cool. Some were cheesy, some were surprisingly effective.
Played around with text a bit too. Added some quotes, wrestling catchphrases, whatever popped into my head. Kept it simple, nothing too distracting.

Finally, I saved everything. Different versions, different sizes, just to have options. Shared a couple on social media, got some laughs, and that was that. Just a silly little project, but it was fun.

Was it groundbreaking? Nah. But it was a good way to kill some time and mess around with some new techniques. Plus, who doesn’t love Kevin Owens?
