Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot about this “Grease and Glory” event in Monopoly Go, and I finally decided to dive in and see what all the fuss was about. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but I figured, why not? I’m always up for trying new stuff in the game.

First things first, I opened up the app and immediately saw the banner for the event. It looked pretty cool, all shiny and, well, glorious. I tapped on it to get the details.
Basically, it’s all about landing on specific tiles – Chance, Community Chest, and Railroads. Seemed simple enough. I was like, “Alright, I can do this.” I’m pretty good at rolling dice…or at least I thought I was.
- Chance: These tiles give out a decent number of points.
- Community Chest: These were pretty similar to Chance.
- Railroads: Hitting these was the real money-maker.
So, I started rolling. And rolling. And rolling some more. It felt like I was landing on everything but the tiles I needed. I swear, the game knows what you’re aiming for and actively avoids it. But, I’m stubborn, so I kept going.
Finally, I hit a Railroad! Sweet, sweet points. Then, I managed to land on a couple of Chance tiles in a row. I was starting to feel like I was getting the hang of it. My strategy was just to keep rolling, keep playing, and hope for the best. No real secret sauce here, folks.
I played for a good chunk of time, maybe an hour or so? I collected a bunch of points, climbed up the leaderboard a bit (not to the top, mind you, but I made some progress!), and grabbed some rewards. The rewards were okay – some extra dice, some cash, the usual stuff. Nothing earth-shattering, but hey, free stuff is free stuff.
Honestly the event is good to roll some more dice. It wasn’t the most exciting event I’ve ever participated in, but it was a decent way to kill some time and earn some extra goodies.
I finished at my current state and call it a day.
