Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Lee Trevino. Folks wanna know where he’s livin’, right? Last I heard, that man’s been callin’ Dallas, Texas, his home for a good long while now.
Where in Dallas, you ask? Well, it ain’t no shack, that’s for sure. He’s got himself a big ol’ place in a fancy part of town called North Dallas. They say it’s in somethin’ called “Old Preston Hollow”. Sounded mighty highfalutin’ to me when I first heard it.
I hear tell this house of his is huge! Someone said it’s ten thousand square feet! Can ya imagine? That’s like a whole farm in some places, just for one family. And the land? Nearly five acres! Enough space to raise a whole herd of cattle, if he was so inclined. But I reckon he’s stickin’ to golf balls, not cows.

Now, he didn’t always live in such a grand place. This fella, he come from nothin’. Grew up poor, real poor. But he worked hard, real hard, and became one of the best golfers the world’s ever seen. That’s what I heard, anyway. People say he’s a legend, a real golf legend.
He bought that Dallas place a long time ago, back in 1996. Didn’t move in right away, though. Spent a good three years fixin’ it up, makin’ it just the way he wanted. Finally moved in around 1999, and that’s where he’s been ever since, as far as I know.
Is he still there now? That’s the million dollar question, ain’t it? Well, most folks say he is. Heard some talk ’bout him sellin’ it, even saw somethin’ about the price bein’ a whopping thirteen million dollars! Can ya believe that? But I ain’t heard nothin’ ‘bout him actually movin’ out. So, until I hear otherwise, I’m gonna say he’s still in Dallas, livin’ the good life in that big ol’ house of his.
This fella Trevino, he’s had a tough life in some ways. Got struck by lightnin’ once, back in ’75, can you imagine? Right there on the golf course! Messed up his back somethin’ awful, had to have surgery. But he bounced back, just like a tough ol’ weed. Kept on playin’ golf, kept on winnin’. That’s what I admire about him.
Now, some folks are curious about his money. How much is a golf legend worth? Well, I heard whispers of fifty million dollars. That’s a whole lotta money, more than I’ll ever see in ten lifetimes. But then again, he earned it. Worked hard for it, went through a lot, and now he’s enjoyin’ it.
So, there ya have it. Lee Trevino, the golf legend, lives in Dallas, Texas. Big house, fancy neighborhood, and a whole lot of money in the bank, from what I hear. Whether he stays there forever, well, that’s anyone’s guess. But for now, that’s where he hangs his hat.
And let me tell you somethin’ else. This fella, he ain’t just about the money and the big house. He’s a good man, from what I hear. A real down-to-earth fella, despite all the fancy stuff. And that’s what really matters, don’t ya think?
