Holliday Farms Dream Home – Is It For Real?
Folks keep jabberin’ on and on about buildin’ their dream home. Never really understood it myself, always been happy with my little place, ya know? But this Holliday Farms, it’s got people all riled up. They say it’s somethin’ special, a prestigious place, they call it. Sounds fancy, right?
They’re sellin’ land there, places where you can build your own house. Not just any house, mind you, but a custom home. Means you get to pick everything, from the color of the walls to how many toilets you want. Can you imagine? Me, I’ve always just taken what I got, never thought about pickin’ and choosin’ like that.

Now, one thing that makes this place so special, they say, is the golf course. A big one, a championship one, they call it. Some fella named Pete Dye built it. Don’t know him from Adam, but apparently, he’s a big deal in the golfin’ world. And these houses, some of ’em, they’re right on the edge of the golf course. Imagine lookin’ out your window and seein’ them fellas hittin’ little white balls all day long. Must be somethin’, huh?
They talk about luxury livin’ at Holliday Farms. That’s another one of them fancy words. Means livin’ high on the hog, I reckon. Big houses, nice things, all that jazz. Not sure I’m cut out for that kinda life, but some folks sure do like it.
This place ain’t just any ol’ farm, though. They call it a “community.” Sounds like a whole bunch of people livin’ together, but in fancy houses instead of shacks like we used to have. They even got a website, , where you can learn more. I ain’t got no computer, so I ain’t seen it myself, but my grandson showed me some pictures. Looks real pretty, all green and neat.
They’re sayin’ you got an unbelievable opportunity to build your dream home there, right on that fancy golf course. Unbelievable, huh? I guess if you got the money, it might be. They keep talkin’ about “limited home sites,” which I take to mean they ain’t got much land left. So, if you’re thinkin’ about movin’ to a place like that, you better get a move on, I tell ya.
There’s a fella named Joe Garcia, they say he’s the guy to talk to if you want to build a house there. He’s the “preferred builder” which I guess means he’s the best one for the job. He’s supposed to be able to help you get started, answer your questions, all that stuff. Sounds like a good fella, I guess.
So, is it really a dream home kinda place? Well, I reckon that depends on what your dreams are. If you dream of fancy houses and golf courses, then maybe it is. If you dream of somethin’ simpler, like a good cup of coffee and a warm fire, well, you can find that anywhere, I reckon. But this Holliday Farms, it sure is somethin’ to talk about. Stunning natural beauty is what they say it has, so maybe it’s pretty nice to look at too.
Folks are always lookin’ for somethin’ better, somethin’ bigger. Maybe this Holliday Farms is it for some of ’em. Me, I’m happy where I am. But it’s nice to hear about folks gettin’ their dreams, even if it’s just a fancy house on a golf course. Build your custom home they say, sounds like a lot of work to me! But if you are ready to start your journey to that luxury living, that’s the place to do it. Just make sure you talk to that Joe Garcia fella.
