Alright, so I’ve been messing around with my desktop setup again, and this time I decided to dive into the world of A Plague Tale: Requiem. Man, that game has some seriously stunning visuals! I wanted to capture some of that beauty and slap it on my desktop, so here’s how I went about getting a killer A Plague Tale: Requiem wallpaper.

The Hunt Begins
First things first, I needed to find some high-quality images. I’ve learned from experience, you want at least 1080p resolution, otherwise, it’s going to look all blurry. I’d recommend searching a wallpaper accordingly.
I spent a good chunk of time scrolling through, and let me tell you, there are a ton of options out there. Everything from dramatic scenes with Amicia and Hugo, to creepy shots of the rat swarms (shudder), to those breathtaking landscapes.
Narrowing it Down
After saving a bunch of images, I did a test run. I set a few as my desktop background to see how they actually looked.
- Some were too busy, with too much going on, making my desktop icons hard to see.
- Others were a bit too dark, which just made my whole screen feel gloomy.
- I wanted something that felt atmospheric, but still practical.
I finally ended up using some images. I really loved it, it had that perfect mix of drama and beauty, with the gorgeous lighting.
The Final Touch
Once I found the perfect wallpaper, there was one last step. And then I adjusted the brightness and contrast of my wallpaper to my tastes in that app. Just a little tweak to make sure it looked perfect on my monitor.
And that’s it! Now I’ve got a desktop background that reminds me of one of my favorite games every time I turn on my computer. It’s a small thing, but it makes my setup feel way more personalized. If you’re a fan of A Plague Tale, I highly recommend doing the same!
