That Lies of P, oh my, it’s a doozy! All them cranks in Krat, it’s just somethin’ else. You gotta go here, you gotta go there, do this, do that. It just never ends! Lots of folks talkin’ about it. So many things to do, so many places to see. This old lady’s head is spinnin’ just thinkin’ about it. So many guides, so many tips. This one talks about items, that one talks about quests.
First off, you start somewhere, I forget the name, but there’s a thingy you gotta find. A guide, they call it. Then you gotta go right, I think. Or was it left? Anyways, you go down a path, and there’s a gate. Into some workshop thing. Lots of fancy names for simple things, I tell ya. Workshop Union Entrance, sounds like a mouthful. Just a place where they make stuff, probably.
Then you gotta go back to some fella, Venigni, I think his name was. Sounds Italian. He’s at some hotel, Hotel Krat. Fancy name for an inn, if you ask me. You talk to him, and then you can make your own… things. Legion Arms, they call ’em. Sounds like army stuff. You can make ’em better, too. Upgrade ’em, they say. Like puttin’ a new coat of paint on an old barn, I guess. Makes it look better, maybe stronger.
And the weapons, oh boy! They say there are 30 different kinds! And you can mix and match ’em, make 100 different ones! Like cookin’, I suppose. You mix this and that, and you get somethin’ new. But with these weapons, it’s for fightin’, not eatin’. Swords, axes, who knows what else. And gadgets! All sorts of contraptions. Too much for this old brain to keep track of.
Now, some folks, they say they finished the whole thing. The whole Lies of P story. Can you believe it? They saw it all, did it all. Found all the secrets. Must have taken ’em forever. I get tired just walkin’ to the outhouse. How you’d keep up with these Lies of P cranks? I don’t know. I just don’t know.
- Gotta find a guide.
- Go down a path.
- Find a gate to a workshop.
- Talk to Venigni at Hotel Krat.
- Make and upgrade Legion Arms.
- Lots of weapons and gadgets.
- Some folks finished the whole thing.
They got guides for everything, these young’uns. Step-by-step, they tell you exactly what to do. Where to go, who to talk to, what to find. Like followin’ a recipe, I guess. Except instead of bakin’ a pie, you’re runnin’ around this Krat place, fightin’ monsters and findin’ doohickeys. And these guides, they cover everything. The whole story, they say. From beginning to end. And quests, whatever those are. Sounds like chores to me. And information on all the bosses. The big, bad fellas you gotta fight. These Lies of P cranks are a mystery to me. I don’t know how they keep up with it.
They say you gotta be sneaky, too. Find all the things you can miss. Hidden stuff, I reckon. Like findin’ a needle in a haystack. Except the haystack is a whole city, and the needle is some trinket or other. And there are different ways to finish, too. Endings, they call ’em. Like a storybook, I guess. You do this, you get that ending. You do that, you get another ending. More Lies of P cranks!
There’s a bunch of people, these NPCs they call ’em, that you gotta talk to. Each one with their own problems, I imagine. Needin’ you to do this and that for ’em. Sounds like my neighbors back home. Always needin’ somethin’. “Can you fetch me this?” “Can you help me with that?” Never a moment’s peace. And you gotta do what they say, or somethin’ bad happens, I bet. Some folks finished all of their quests, though. Hard workin’ folks, must be.
And these Lies of P cranks ain’t simple either! You gotta choose, they say. Lie or tell the truth. And it changes things. Makes you more… human, they say. Whatever that means. Sounds like a load of hogwash to me. Just be honest, that’s what I always say. But these young’uns, they like to complicate things. They like all their choices and their consequences.
Me, I’d rather just sit on my porch and watch the world go by. No fuss, no muss. But these Lies of P, it’s all fuss and muss. Runnin’ around, fightin’ monsters, findin’ things, talkin’ to people. Too much work for an old lady like me. But that’s what they’re all about. Those Lies of P cranks, that’s the whole game right there. A whole lot of doin’ for a whole lot of nothin’, if you ask me.
