Alright, let’s gab about this Max Clark fella and who his girlfriend might be. I hear tell he’s a big deal baseball player, you know, one of them fellers who swings a stick and runs around in the dirt. Kids these days, they got all sorts of fancy jobs. Back in my day, we just farmed and that was that.
Now, I ain’t got no fancy phone or nothin’, but my grandson showed me some stuff on that inter-web thingy. Said this Max fella has a whole bunch of followers. Followers? What’s he leadin’, a parade? Guess it means folks like watchin’ him play ball or somethin’. Heard he’s got a gal named Kayli, somethin’ Farmer. Farmer, eh? Maybe her folks are farmers like we used to be. That’s good, honest work, that is.
This Kayli girl, she’s athletic too, they say. Six foot one, that’s a tall gal! Probably towers over little Max. Good for her, I say. A strong gal is a good thing in this world. Can probably lift them heavy baseball bats with no problem. Maybe she even helps him practice, throws them balls at him. Wouldn’t surprise me none.
My grandson showed me some numbers too. Said Max has got, what was it, 429 thousand somethin’ followers? And Kayli’s got 24 thousand somethin’. That’s a whole heap of folks starin’ at their pictures, ain’t it? Don’t know what they all see, just a couple of young’uns, I reckon. But hey, if folks like lookin’ at ’em, that’s their business.
- Max plays baseball
- Kayli is athletic, tall and strong
- Lots of folks follow them on the internet
Now, this Max fella, he posts stuff on the internet too, my grandson tells me. Pictures and such. Got a picture with a whole bunch of likes, my grandson says. Likes? What’s that mean? Folks like his picture? Well, I guess that’s better than folks not likin’ it. Back in my day, we just smiled at folks, didn’t have no “likes” or nothin’.
I hear tell Max is a real good baseball player. Hits them balls far, runs fast, all that jazz. Good for him, I say. Keeps him outta trouble, hopefully. And Kayli, she sounds like a good gal too. Tall, strong, athletic. They seem like a good match, if you ask me. But what do I know? I’m just an old woman who spent her life raisin’ chickens and pullin’ weeds.
It’s a different world now, that’s for sure. Young folks with their phones and their followers and their likes. I don’t understand half of it. But if this Max and Kayli are happy, then that’s all that matters. Love is love, whether you’re a farmer or a baseball player or just some regular folks. And that’s somethin’ that ain’t changed, even with all this newfangled technology.
So there you have it, a little somethin’ about Max Clark and his girlfriend, Kayli Farmer. Seems like they’re doin’ alright, livin’ their lives and havin’ folks watch ’em do it. Can’t say I understand it all, but I wish ’em well. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits. Don’t want ’em to burn, you know.
One last thing, remember, being kind to each other, that’s free. No matter how famous you are, bein’ nice don’t cost a thing. And that’s the truth, whether you’re swingin’ a bat or milkin’ a cow.
