Alright, so yesterday I finally got around to checking out that mini golf place in Daly City. You know, the one everyone keeps talking about? Figured I’d share the whole experience, warts and all.

First off, getting there. Driving up, it’s pretty easy to find, plenty of parking. No sweat there. Walking in, I immediately noticed it’s way bigger than I expected. Like, they really packed a lot of mini golf into that space.
The course itself? Okay, so it’s not your typical windmill-and-clown’s-mouth kind of thing. They went for a more…natural? vibe. Lots of rocks, little streams, some pretty decent landscaping. Each hole was different, which I appreciated. Some were surprisingly tricky.
Playing the game. Grabbed a club and a ball (they had different colors, which is always a plus), and started on hole one. I’m not gonna lie, my first few shots were terrible. Way off target. But hey, that’s mini golf, right? After a few holes, I started getting the hang of it. Figured out which surfaces were faster, where the breaks were. Even managed a couple of birdies! (Okay, maybe they were pars, but let me have my moment).
- Hole #3: This one had a crazy curve. I almost put the ball into the water.
- Hole #7: Uphill. Who puts an uphill mini golf hole? Brutal.
- Hole #12: Finally got a hole-in-one… almost screamed like a maniac.
The crowd? It was a mix of families, couples, and groups of friends. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There were a couple of kids who were running around a bit too much for my taste, but overall, the atmosphere was pretty chill.
Snacks and Drinks. They had a little snack bar with the usual stuff – chips, candy, soda. I grabbed a soda to keep me hydrated. Nothing fancy, but it did the trick.
The score? Let’s just say I’m not going pro anytime soon. But I definitely improved throughout the game. And honestly, I was having too much fun to really care about the score.
Overall Verdict
So, would I recommend the mini golf in Daly City? Yeah, definitely. It’s a fun way to spend an afternoon, especially if you’re looking for something a little different. It’s not gonna change your life, but it’s good, clean fun. Plus, it’s surprisingly challenging. I might even go back again sometime. Just gotta work on my putting game first!
