Alright, so folks keep asking how I managed to actually craft ‘Death’ in Infinity Craft. Lemme tell ya, it wasn’t straightforward, and the game doesn’t exactly hand you a manual for this kinda stuff. Took me a good while, lots of messing around, and honestly, a bit of luck.

First off, I spent ages trying the obvious things. Combining Obsidian blocks? Nope. Mixing Soul Sand with Wither Skulls? Nah, wrong game logic entirely. I even tried just digging straight down hoping to find some underworld thingy. Waste of time, mostly. Got some good resources though, haha.
Figuring Out the Pieces
So, after a lot of failed experiments, I started thinking less literally. ‘Death’ isn’t just a block, right? It’s like… an event. An endpoint. The game actually has hints scattered around, but they’re super vague. I noticed some weird items dropping from really tough mobs and in super deep caves.
This led me down a rabbit hole. I figured I needed stuff that represented the opposite of Death, or maybe the components of ending something. Here’s what I eventually zeroed in on:
- First Element – Something representing Life: I found this glowing petal thing, called it ‘Life Spark’. Dropped super rarely from those weird glowing deer things that only appear during a Blood Moon. Took me like, five Blood Moons to get just one. Painful.
- Second Element – Something about Time: Deep underground, in those ancient structure things, I found these sparkly dust piles. Called ‘Dust of Ages’. Mining the really old-looking blocks, the ones with weird carvings, sometimes dropped it. Again, super rare. Needed a bunch.
- Third Element – The Void or Darkness: This was the hardest. Had to beat that massive shadow boss that spawns after you mess with the dark altars. That dude dropped a ‘Void Fragment’. Seriously tough fight, almost lost my best gear multiple times.
Putting It All Together
Okay, so I had the Life Spark, a handful of Dust of Ages, and the Void Fragment. Now what? Standard crafting table didn’t work. Furnace? Nope. Alchemy stand? Closer, but still no dice.
I remembered seeing this weird structure in the Nether, looked like a broken altar. Had to fix it up first, needed some specific enchanted blocks – the ones you make with Netherite and gold. Once I repaired that spooky altar, it kinda activated.
Then, it was just a matter of placing the items on the altar. Had to be in the right order, I think? I put the Life Spark in the middle, surrounded it with the Dust of Ages, and then used the Void Fragment on the central pedestal thingy.
There was this big flash of dark light, spooky sounds, the whole nine yards. And then, bam! The item ‘Death’ was hovering there. It wasn’t a weapon or armor, but more like… a catalyst? Or maybe a trophy. Looks kinda like a swirling orb of darkness.
What does it DO? Well, that’s a whole other story. Using it has… consequences. Let’s just say it lives up to its name. But yeah, that’s how I made it. It was a grind, involved fighting tough bosses, exploring dangerous places, and a lot of pure trial and error. Not something you do on day one, that’s for sure.
