Alright, so I got curious today about Nolan Arenado, you know, the Cardinals’ third baseman. Specifically, I wanted to figure out who his parents are. It just kinda popped into my head while I was reading some baseball news.

First thing I did, naturally, was just grab my phone and do a quick search. Nothing fancy. I think I typed in something like “nolan arenado parents” or maybe “who are nolan arenado mom and dad”. Just kept it simple.
The results came up pretty fast. Lots of articles and sports bio pages mentioned them. It wasn’t hard to find their names at all, which was nice. Didn’t have to dig too deep for the basics.
Okay, So Who Are They?
From what I gathered pretty quickly, his father’s name is Fernando Arenado and his mother is Millie Arenado. Saw those names mentioned consistently across different places, so I felt pretty sure about that.
Then I poked around a little more, just clicking on a few of the links that looked interesting. Found out some cool background stuff.
- They have Cuban heritage. Fernando, his dad, apparently came over from Cuba. That adds a layer to his story.
- Seems like baseball runs in the family. I read that Fernando played baseball in Cuba too, though obviously not at the MLB level. Explains some of the passion, maybe.
- Found mentions of how supportive they’ve been throughout his career, right from when he was a kid playing ball. You often hear about supportive parents in sports stories, and it seems like that’s the case here too.
- His younger brother, Jonah Arenado, also played professional baseball in the minor leagues for a while. So, definitely a baseball family.
So yeah, that was my little dive into finding out about Nolan Arenado’s parents. Started with a simple question, did a quick search, and got the names Fernando and Millie right away. The extra bits about their background and the family connection to baseball were interesting finds too. Didn’t take long, just a few minutes of searching and reading. Mission accomplished for the day, I guess!
