Alright, guys, let me tell you about my little project today. I decided I wanted some Padres shorts. Not just any Padres shorts, but some that really screamed “I love the Padres!” So, I started looking around, checking all the usual spots.
First, I went online to the MLB Shop. Figured they’d have a good selection, right? And they did! Lots of different styles – gym shorts, running shorts, even those cool printed mini shorts. I browsed through all of them, looking for something that really caught my eye. I saw a few that were pretty decent, but nothing that really jumped out at me. They had some San Diego Padres performance shorts, which were nice, but not exactly what I was picturing.
Next, I headed over to Fanatics. They always have a ton of stuff, so I thought I’d find something there. Sure enough, they had a bunch of Padres gear on sale. I scrolled through pages of discounted shorts, hoping to find a real bargain. They had some clearance prices on Padres apparel and shirts, but the shorts selection wasn’t amazing. Found a couple of okay pairs, but nothing that made me want to whip out my credit card.

- Looked at Majestic Athletic, but didn’t find anything.
After that, I swung by Majestic Athletic. They had a few new San Diego Padres Shorts in different styles, but nothing that I hadn’t seen before. I mean, they were fine, but they didn’t have that “wow” factor I was looking for. I even checked out the shipping info – they had quick flat-rate shipping, which was a plus, but still, the shorts themselves weren’t doing it for me. I saw some mentioning the Padres hitting a home run and getting a free Jumbo Jack, I would love that, but I just wanted to find some good shorts!
Then I went to the Lids. Their website said they had Padres shorts for men, so I was hopeful. But when I got there, it was the same story. They had the standard stuff, nothing unique. I was starting to get a little discouraged, to be honest. I also noticed an ad for watching Padres games at Ballast Point with $5 pints, which sounded awesome, but I was on a mission for shorts!
Finally, I decided to check out the *, just in case they had something different. They had Padres Shorts for men, women, and kids, which was cool. I looked through all the options, hoping to find something special, something that said “these are the ones!” But, alas, it was the same old stuff. They had some nice designs, but nothing that really stood out from what I’d already seen.
The Result
So, after all that searching, I ended up not getting any new Padres shorts today. A bit of a bummer, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes. I’ll probably do another search later, maybe try some different stores or look for custom options. The hunt for the perfect Padres shorts continues! I know there are some good ones somewhere!
