Okay, so here’s the deal. I got super into Generation Zero on my PS4 recently. It’s got that cool 80s vibe and robots are trying to kill you, what’s not to love, right? But let’s be honest, sometimes you just want to mess around or get an edge. So, I went down the rabbit hole of finding some cheats.

First, I hit up Google, obviously. Searched all sorts of things like “Generation Zero PS4 cheats,” “Generation Zero console commands,” you name it. Most of it was just clickbait garbage, leading to dead ends or PC stuff that wouldn’t work on my PS4. Big disappointment.
Then, I tried looking for trainers, thinking maybe someone had cracked the game. No luck there either. Seems like the PS4 is pretty locked down when it comes to that kind of thing. I even checked out some YouTube videos, but they were mostly showing glitches or exploits, not actual cheat codes.
The closest I got to anything resembling a cheat was finding some duplication glitches.
- Basically, you drop the item you want to duplicate.
- Then, you disconnect your internet (go offline).
- Pick up the item, and then quickly close the game app before it has a chance to sync with the cloud.
- Restart the game, and if you did it right, you’ll have the item in your inventory AND it will still be on the ground.
It’s kinda clunky, and honestly, it felt a bit cheaty, but hey, it worked. Used it to get some extra ammo when I was running low.
Another thing I messed around with was the difficulty settings.
Turned it down to the easiest mode and basically became a robot-killing machine. Not really a cheat, I know, but it definitely made things easier. Plus, you can experiment with different weapon combos and see what works best without getting totally wrecked every five seconds.
Honestly, the whole experience was a bit of a letdown. I was hoping for some sweet God mode or infinite ammo, but it looks like Generation Zero on PS4 is pretty cheat-resistant. I mean, that’s a good thing in some ways, keeps the game fair. But sometimes you just want to go nuts, you know?
So, in the end, I didn’t find any real “cheats” in the traditional sense. Just some minor exploits and messing with the difficulty settings. Still had fun though, even if it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. Maybe I’ll try again later, see if anything new has popped up. Until then, happy robot hunting!
