Okay, so, today I messed around with this thing called “Puget-Altus,” which I guess is some kind of error that pops up in games like Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. It seems like a network issue, something about the game not being able to talk to its servers properly. I kept seeing this message that said, “Time out while checking for permissions,” which honestly sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me.
First, I tried just restarting the game. You know, the classic turn it off and on again. No dice. Still getting that “Puget-Altus” error. So, I figured maybe it was my internet connection acting up. I unplugged my router, waited a bit, and plugged it back in. Nothing. Still the same error.
Then I thought, okay, maybe it’s something with my PlayStation, since that’s what I was using. I read somewhere that sometimes corrupted files can cause this. So, I rebooted the whole console. Fingers crossed, I launched the game again. Nope. “Puget-Altus” was still there, staring back at me.
I even go ahead to try full reinstall the game, and it took me whole day! You know what? it still not working, this error keep show up and i can’t even get into the game.
I spent a good chunk of time on this today, and I’m no closer to a solution than when I started. I found few related thing online and try to use it, it still doesn’t work for me! This “Puget-Altus” thing is a real pain. If I ever figure this out, I’ll be sure to share the solution. But for now, I’m stumped. It’s frustrating, to say the least, and hopefully, I won’t be stuck with this forever.
