What a crazy time it has been lately! As many of you may know, I’ve been messing around with my look, and it’s all thanks to that wild UFC 297 fight. You know, the one where Dricus Du Plessis beat the crap out of Sean Strickland.
So, picture this: I’m watching the fight, and I see Strickland getting all busted up. His left eye was a mess, blood everywhere. And I thought, “Man, that guy’s tough, but his hair game is not on point.” Then it hit me – I should shave my head! I mean, why not, right? It’s just hair, it’ll grow back. Plus, I needed a change, and this seemed like the perfect excuse.
I got up, grabbed my clippers, and just went for it. No plan, no second thoughts, just straight-up buzzing it all off. It felt kinda liberating, I gotta say. Like shedding an old skin or something deep like that.
- First step: Watched the fight. Got inspired by the chaos.
- Second step: Found the clippers. They were dusty, but they worked.
- Third step: Started buzzing. No turning back at this point.
- Fourth step: Looked in the mirror. Bald. Very bald.
After I was done, I had to do something with the extra weight I’ve been carrying. Inspired by Strickland, who apparently put on some pounds, I figured I’d bulk up a bit too. More weights, more food, the whole nine yards. It’s been a grind, but hey, I’m feeling stronger, so that’s a win.
The whole shaved head and bulking up thing got me thinking about transitions. Strickland lost, and people are talking about who’s next, like this Swerve guy or Ospreay. It’s all about moving on and finding the next challenge. That’s kind of what I’m doing, in my own weird way.
And yeah, people have been giving me looks. Some think I’m crazy, some are into it. My buddy even said I look like that Diamond guy who shaved his head, you know, the one that the fighter Perry was joking about. It’s all in good fun, though.
So, that’s the story of my “Strickland Shaved” adventure. It’s been a wild ride, and honestly, I’m digging the new me. It’s not just about the hair or the muscles; it’s about taking risks and not being afraid to change things up. Who knows what’s next, but I’m here for it.
