Okay, so, let me tell you about this crazy night I had messing around with wrestling stuff. I’m a huge WWE fan, you know, and lately, I’ve been obsessed with The Bloodline storyline. It’s like a soap opera, but with more body slams.
So, I got this wild idea to make my own little WWE Tag Team Championship belts. I’ve seen some DIY versions online, but I wanted mine to be extra special, especially with all this drama happening with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline.
First, I gathered all my materials. I used some old leather belts I had lying around for the straps. Then, for the plates, I used some cardboard, which I cut into the shapes I wanted. I made sure to get the size right; these belts had to look legit, even if they were just for fun.
Next, I started decorating the plates. I used gold spray paint to give them that shiny, championship look. While the paint was drying, I printed out the WWE logo and some designs I found online. I wanted to make sure the belts looked as close to the real thing as possible.
Once everything was dry, I started assembling the belts. I glued the printed designs onto the plates. I had to be super careful with this part; I didn’t want any wrinkles or bubbles. Then I attached the plates to the leather straps using some heavy-duty adhesive.
- Step 1: Gather materials (old leather belts, cardboard, gold spray paint, etc.).
- Step 2: Cut cardboard into plate shapes.
- Step 3: Spray paint the plates gold.
- Step 4: Print out WWE logo and designs.
- Step 5: Glue designs onto the plates.
- Step 6: Attach plates to the leather straps.
While I was working on this, I was watching SmackDown, and man, things were heating up! I saw that match, A-Town Down Under versus DIY, for the Tag Team Championship. It was intense! DIY even sent the tag champs outside and hit those crazy stereo dives. I was jumping up and down, getting all hyped. It made the whole DIY belt project even more fun.
Then there was that whole thing with Solo Sikoa. After The Bloodline’s big win, Solo sent a warning to Cody Rhodes. And now I hear Solo got kicked out of the New Bloodline? This storyline is wild! It’s like every week there’s a new twist.
Finishing Touches
After I finished the belts, I added some extra details. I used a silver marker to outline the designs and make them pop. I even added some fake gemstones I had from an old craft project to give the belts some extra bling.
When they were all done, I tried them on. I felt like a real champion! I even practiced my entrance, walking around my living room like I was heading to the ring. It was so much fun, especially with all the Bloodline drama going on in my head. I imagined myself in a tag team, facing off against A-Town Down Under or even getting involved in the Bloodline saga.
I was reading up on some Tag Team Championship history while working on the belts too. Did you know The Hardy Boyz have held the titles seven times? That’s insane! And there are guys who have held the titles for over 365 days. That’s a long time to be a champion. It got me thinking about all the great tag teams in WWE history, and how my DIY belts were a little tribute to all of them.
This whole project was a blast. It combined my love for crafting with my passion for WWE. Plus, with all the twists and turns in The Bloodline storyline, it felt like the perfect time to do it. Now I have these awesome DIY Tag Team Championship belts, and I can’t wait to see what happens next in the world of WWE. Maybe I’ll make a Solo Sikoa action figure next to keep the story going in my own little wrestling universe! This is way more fun than just watching; it’s like I’m part of the action.
