Okay, so everyone’s been going crazy over that Taylor Swift Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt, right? I had to get in on the action, so here’s how I went about making my own, because, you know, why not?

First, I spent like, forever, just scrolling through pictures online. I needed to see all the different versions people were wearing. Some had just the Chiefs logo, others had “Kansas City” written out, some even had “Swift” on them. It was a whole thing.
After I got a good feel for what I liked, I decided to go with a simple design: just “Kansas City” in a bold, kinda vintage-looking font. I figured that would be the easiest to recreate.
Then came the hard part – finding the right sweatshirt. I wanted something comfy, oversized, and preferably in that classic grey color. I hit up a few local stores, but no luck. Everything was either too thin, too fitted, or just the wrong shade of grey. I had to resort online shopping.
Hunting The Sweatshirt.
- First of all, choose a comfortable sweatshirt that will give you a good wearing experience.
- Second, pay attention to the color and size, it is best to choose the style in the video.
- Finally, it is time to determine your favorite style.
Eventually,I found it, I ordered it, and thankfully, it was perfect! Nice and thick, super soft, and that perfect, slightly faded grey.
Next up: getting the design on the sweatshirt. I’m not exactly an artist, I played around with some fonts on my computer. I downloaded it.
I printed out the design, making sure it was the right size for the sweatshirt. Then I carefully cut it out, creating a makeshift stencil.
Finally, I carefully applied the paint, making sure not to smudge anything. I let it dry overnight, just to be safe.
And that’s it! My very own, totally DIY Taylor Swift-inspired Kansas City sweatshirt. It’s not perfect, the letters might be a little wonky, but I love it! It’s comfy, it’s unique, and it totally captures that whole vibe. Plus, I made it myself, which makes it even cooler. Now go get yours!
