Alright, guys, so I saw this “Joe Rogan Broth” thing popping up, and you know me, I gotta try these things out. I’m no expert, but it sounded kinda interesting, so I figured, why not?

The Experiment Begins
First, I gathered what I thought I needed. Now, I didn’t follow any strict recipe, just kinda winged it based on what I saw online. I’m more of a “throw it in a pot and see what happens” kinda guy.
My Makeshift Broth
- I grabbed some beef bones from the local butcher.
- I chucked in some carrots, onions, and celery. You know, the usual suspects.
- I Also added a few cloves of garlic and some ginger because, well, I like garlic and ginger.
- I seasoned with salt, pepper, and some herbs.
I filled a big pot with water, threw everything in, and brought it to a boil. Then, I turned it down to a simmer and let it do its thing. My Whole house started smelling so beefy.
I let it simmer for a good long time. It take several hours, Maybe too long, I lost track, I was watching TV. I just kept checking it, added more water when it looked low, and stirred it occasionally.
The Final Result
After many hours, I decided it was probably done. I strained out all the solids, leaving just the broth. And, that was it. My very own, probably-not-authentic, Joe Rogan-inspired broth.
Taste-wise? It was… okay. Honestly, it just tasted like a regular, homemade bone broth. Nothing magical, but not bad either. It was warm and savory, so, good enough for me.
Would I make it again? Maybe. It was a bit of a process, but it’s always fun to try new things. And hey, at least I got a decent pot of broth out of it.
