See, these trolls come from the northern seas, where the winds are cold and the waters are rough. They ain’t like the trolls you might hear about in old fairy tales. No sir, these trolls, they got smarts. They’s the kind of creatures that could even learn a thing or two from humans. In fact, some folks from Sharlayan – them scholars, you know – tried teachin’ ‘em sign language. Now, it’s said that one of these here trolls might’ve been part of that experiment. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, don’t go thinkin’ them trolls are all cuddlin’ and friendly. Nah, they got them sharp claws and bristly hairs all over their upper bodies, like a big ol’ beast. When they standin’ tall, they tower over ya, and you can tell they mean business. But despite all that, they ain’t out to get you unless you give ‘em a reason. Most times, they just mind their own business. I reckon that’s somethin’ to think about next time ya run into one in the game.
If you’re playin’ FFXIV and wonderin’ how to get one of them Tiny Trolls for yourself, it ain’t too hard. You just gotta head over to a place called “The Aitiascope,” which is a dungeon all the way up at level 89. Now, I ain’t gonna lie, it’s a tough one, but if you’re lucky, you might just find yourself a Tiny Troll as loot. Ain’t that somethin’ special? They sure do look cute, even if they still got them big ol’ troll ears and a scowl on their face.
These Tiny Trolls ain’t just for show neither. They might be small, but they’re still mighty in their own way. In fact, you might notice when they’re around, they make the enemies a little weaker. Yup, they got a special ability that makes all the critters nearby weaker, just by bein’ there. Now, that’s some cleverness for ya, right there. I reckon that’s what makes them so handy, whether you’re out fightin’ or just want a bit of company in battle.
Now, if you’re interested in somethin’ a little bigger than a Tiny Troll, you might wanna try for the full-sized Troll mount. This here Troll mount ain’t easy to come by, though. To get it, you gotta have access to them Faux Hollows, and then earn yourself some Faux Leaves, which you get by completin’ them Unreal Trials. Them trials are somethin’ fierce, let me tell ya. But if you manage to get enough Faux Leaves, you can buy yourself a Troll mount that’ll carry you all over Eorzea. Ain’t no better way to show off that you’ve been through the wringer and come out on top.
Now, I know some folks might be thinkin’, “Well, what’s so special about these trolls?” But lemme tell ya, it’s not just about the looks or the power. There’s somethin’ about them trolls that makes you appreciate the little things. They may seem like big, scary creatures at first, but once you get to know ‘em, you realize they ain’t all that different from us. They just got their own way of doin’ things, just like folks in the village, y’know?
So, if you’re lookin’ to add a troll to your collection or just want to learn a bit more about ‘em, I reckon FFXIV’s got ya covered. Whether it’s the Tiny Troll or the full-sized Troll mount, them creatures sure do add a little somethin’ special to your adventures. And remember, even the biggest, roughest troll can have a soft spot. Just takes a little lookin’ and a bit of patience.
