Alright, so I’ve been hooked on this mobile game lately, Monopoly Go, and there was this event, Tycoon Cookout. Figured I’d share how it went down for me, step by step.

Getting Started
First things first, I opened up the app. You know the drill, waiting for it to load, hoping my Wi-Fi doesn’t act up. Once it’s in, you see all the ongoing events, and bam, there’s Tycoon Cookout staring right at me. I tapped on the event icon to get into it.
The Initial Grind
At the very beginning, the event’s pretty simple. You roll the dice, move around the board, just like regular Monopoly, but there are these special “pick up” tiles. When your piece on these tiles, you collect ingredients or points. Those points are used to play in the tournament of Tycoon Cookout.
- I made sure I was landing on as many of those special tiles as possible.
- Every roll counted, so I was a bit more strategic about when to use my higher multipliers.
Hitting the Tournaments
Tycoon Cookout is not only a side event, it’s a Tournament! So after the initial preparation, I jumped into the main game board. I had already done a few runs before, so I knew what I was aiming for. I wanted to get as many points as possible to move up on the leaderboard, but I also wanted to complete the milestones to earn a bunch of rewards. I played for a good hour, watching my points climb. It was a bit of a back-and-forth; sometimes I’d get a good streak, other times I’d hit a dry spell.
Strategy Tweaks
After the first day, I realized I needed to tweak my strategy a bit. Instead of just rolling whenever, I started paying more attention to the board layout and the prizes. I also saved up some dice to use in bursts, especially when I was close to completing a milestone or jumping up the leaderboard.
Final Push
When I see the time running out, it shows only a few hours left, I know it is the time for the last attack!
I checked my rank and the remaining milestones. Then I used all my saving sources to get a good position in this event!
So, that was my Tycoon Cookout run in Monopoly Go. It was a fun little grind, and I’m looking forward to the next event!
