But I hear tell this Viktor, he started playin’ golf when he was just a young’un, ’bout eleven years old. His daddy, Harald, he learned to play golf over in America, in some place called Saint Loo-ee, I think. He brought them golf sticks back home to Norway and taught Viktor how to swing ’em.
Viktor, he spent a lot of time hittin’ balls indoors, you know, where it’s warm. Can’t be out there freezin’ your behind off in the snow tryin’ to play golf. That wouldn’t be no fun at all. So he practiced and practiced, and he got real good.

He’s been close to winnin’ other big tournaments too, even shared second place in some championship thing just a couple of weeks ago. Folks gettin’ frustrated when they don’t win, I guess. But this Viktor, he seems like a determined young fella. He’ll keep on playin’, keep on tryin’, and he’ll win more tournaments, you just wait and see. And he’ll be doin’ it all wearin’ some good shoes, you can bet on that.
