Alright, let’s talk about this whole “lucy zzz team build” thing I did today. It was… something, let me tell you.

So, I had this brilliant idea to throw a team together in Zenless Zone Zero. You know, get some good synergy going, all that jazz. I dove right in, no plan, just vibes. Big mistake. Huge.
First off, I grabbed some characters I thought looked cool. I mean, who needs strategy when you’ve got style, right? Wrong. Turns out, just because they look like they’d be friends doesn’t mean they fight well together. Learned that the hard way. My first few battles were a total mess. Nobody was working together, everybody was just doing their own thing. It was like herding cats, except the cats had superpowers and kept accidentally blowing each other up.
Next, I tried to get all smart and match up elements. Figured if I had a bunch of characters with the same element, they’d be super strong together. Nope. Turns out, it doesn’t quite work like that. I ended up with a team that was super strong against, like, one specific type of enemy and totally useless against everything else. Back to the drawing board.
Trial and Error
- Attempt 1: All style, no substance. Failed miserably.
- Attempt 2: Element matching gone wrong. Super niche, super useless.
- Attempt 3: Randomly clicking and hoping for the best. Surprisingly, not the worst strategy.
After a few more rounds of trial and error and getting my butt kicked more times than I care to admit, I finally started to get the hang of it. I realized you gotta pay attention to what each character actually does. Their skills, their abilities, how they work with each other… it all matters, you know? It’s not just about throwing together some flashy dudes. It’s about building a well-oiled machine, a team that can handle anything. At last, I paid more attention to those stats and skills, and let me tell you, it made a world of difference.
Took me a while, and a lot of frustrating losses, but I think I’ve finally got a decent team going. It’s not perfect, but hey, we’re winning more than we’re losing now, and that’s what counts. And that was my day, folks. I went from “What am I doing?” to “Okay, I think I’m getting this.” A real rollercoaster. It took a lot of yelling at the screen and a few moments where I almost threw my computer out the window, but I made it. In the end, I guess I did learn something. And my team? Well, they’re starting to look pretty badass. Maybe I will make some small adjustment next time.
This whole team-building thing is way harder than it looks, man. But hey, I’m not giving up. I’ll keep at it, keep experimenting, keep getting my butt kicked until I figure it out. That’s the plan, anyway. Wish me luck, I’m gonna need it.
