Alright, so I wanna talk about this thing I got into, it’s called the “Dreamflux Reef birds” thing. Sounds fancy, huh? But it’s basically a scavenger hunt, which I’m kinda into these days. It’s all about finding these origami birds, yeah, paper birds, all hidden in this game. There are 20 of them in total, all over the place in this area called Dreamflux Reef. If you’re lucky enough to find every single one, you score this item called “Flames Afar,” which is pretty neat.
I started my hunt in this spot called the “Narrow Alleyway” ’cause I read somewhere online that it’s a good starting point. And man, it’s kinda like a maze. You just follow these maps people have shared, and it leads you to each bird. First one I found, I had to teleport to this place, and then I see this statue. I gotta pull out feathers from the statue until the bird is free. It felt kinda weird, but hey, it’s a game, right?
Then, from this spot called the Dreammaster Hall Space Anchor, I went down this hallway and some stairs. Found another bird there. After that, I headed up to the staircase on the left side, and boom, another one right there. They are not that hard to find if you know where to look, I guess.
Honestly, I went through this whole map, going up and down, checking every nook and cranny. Some of these birds, they’re in pretty obvious spots, but others, man, they’re tricky. I’d be looking at the map, then back at the game, trying to figure out where the heck I am and where I need to go.
Here’s a little trick I learned along the way. When you’re in those tight spots, like the “Narrow Alleyway,” it’s easier to spot them if you kinda tilt the camera angle a bit. Made a huge difference for me, especially when I was stuck on a couple of those sneaky birds.
I spent a good chunk of time doing this. I mean, it’s not something you just do in five minutes. It takes patience, you know? But I gotta say, it was pretty satisfying each time I found one. It’s like, “Yeah, gotcha!” It’s this little feeling of accomplishment, which is pretty cool.
Here’s the breakdown of how I found most of them:
- Dewlight Pavilion, Floor One: This one was kinda straightforward. Just head down the hallway and stairs from the Dreammaster Hall Space Anchor. Then you see the statue.
- Left Staircase: From the same Space Anchor, went up the leftmost staircase. Another bird there, just chilling.
And that’s the gist of it. It wasn’t too complicated or too easy, just the right mix to keep me engaged. And in the end I got all 20 of those little birds and finally, get the “Flames Afar” Destruction light cone. It is super great, the feeling is just like when I finally finished a long, boring book. But it’s all worth it when you’re holding that virtual prize in your hand. It’s a good feeling, knowing you stuck with it and didn’t give up. It’s those small victories, right?
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Dreamflux Reef birds. If you’re into this game, give it a shot. It’s a fun little side quest, and who knows, you might enjoy the hunt as much as I did.
