Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called “firefly traces,” and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started because I’d already pre-farmed a bunch of stuff for Sparkle, you know, materials and gear, and I was itching for something else to do. I figured, why not focus on support traces for Firefly? Sounds good, right?
First off, I had to figure out how to actually get these fireflies. Turns out, you gotta be sneaky. I learned that you have to crouch and creep up on them real slow. If they hear you coming, they’re gone. So, I spent a good chunk of time just practicing my stealth moves, getting close enough to hit that “Take” button the second it popped up. Felt like a real ninja, not gonna lie.
Then there’s the whole leveling up the support traces part. I started with Gallagher’s debuff for break damage. Pushed that bad boy up to level 9, and I’m aiming for 10. Ruan Mei’s talent? Already at 10, so that’s max speed. I mean what’s the point if you don’t go full in?
While I was at it, I did a little digging into fireflies themselves. Did you know these little guys are actually predators? Yeah, their larvae go after things like snails and slugs. Brutal, right? But hey, gotta respect the hustle. Oh, and they don’t carry any diseases to humans, so that’s a plus. And, get this they are not even that fast compared with other insects.
- Crouch and approach slowly: This was key. I tried running at them at first, and they just scattered. Slow and steady wins the race, or in this case, the firefly.
- Hit the “Take” button ASAP: This was tricky at first. I missed a few because I hesitated. Gotta be quick on the draw.
- Level up Gallagher’s debuff: I focused on this first since it seemed pretty useful for break damage. Got it to level 9, and it’s making a difference.
- Max out Ruan Mei’s talent: This one was already a priority for me. Max speed is always a good thing.
And let me tell you something, these things are more than just bugs. In a bunch of cultures, they’re like symbols of love and magic because of their glow. I read about how they show up in stories and poems, representing beauty and those fleeting moments in life. Pretty deep for a little glowing insect, huh?
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with the firefly traces. It’s been a mix of sneaking around, grinding levels, and learning some random facts. But hey, that’s what makes it interesting, right? You never know what you’ll get into with these things. Definitely keeping me on my toes!
