Alright, let’s talk about this “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes” DVD thing, or whatever it is. I ain’t got no fancy words, so I’ll just tell it like it is, you know?
This Cody fella, he’s a wrestler, like those fellas you see on TV, all muscles and tights. This whole “American Nightmare” thing, they say it started when he was over in Japan, wrestling with some group called the “Bullet Club.” Sounds like a bunch of troublemakers to me, but hey, that’s their business. They started callin’ him the “American Nightmare,” I guess ’cause he was American and, well, maybe a bit of a pain in the behind to other wrestlers? I don’t rightly know.
Now, this DVD, or show, or whatever you call it, it’s all about him, this Cody. How he grew up and how he became a wrestler. They say he was livin’ in the shadow of his daddy. His daddy was a wrestler too, a famous one, I reckon. Must be hard, always havin’ to live up to someone else’s name. But this Cody, he went and made a name for himself, it seems.
They got this show on somethin’ called “Peacock.” Sounds like a fancy bird to me, but it’s one of them things where you watch shows on your TV or your phone. You gotta sign up, give ’em your information, and then you can watch whatever they got. This Cody fella’s show is on there, so if you’re into that wrestlin’ stuff, you can watch it, I guess.
- So, what’s this show about? It’s about Cody’s life, from when he was a young’un to when he became a big-time wrestler.
- They show you all the hard work he put in, the fights he had, and how he became the “American Nightmare.”
- And like I said, it’s on that Peacock thing. You gotta pay for it, I think, but that’s how they get ya these days.
I ain’t watched it myself, mind you. I’m too busy with my own work to be sittin’ around watchin’ some fella wrestle on TV. But I hear folks talkin’ about it, so I figured I’d tell you what I know. Seems like this Cody fella worked real hard to get where he is. He went through a lot of ups and downs, I’m sure. Wrestling ain’t easy, that’s for sure. All that jumpin’ and slammin’, gotta hurt somethin’ fierce.
This “American Nightmare” name, it sounds kinda scary, don’t it? But I guess that’s what they want, them wrestlers. They want to be tough, they want to be scary, they want to win. And this Cody, he seems to have done alright for himself. He ain’t just some nobody, that’s for sure. He made a name for himself, and now they got a whole show about him.
If you’re lookin’ to watch it, just go on that Peacock thing and find it. They say you can watch it online too, on their website. I wouldn’t know how to do that, mind you. I’m too old for all this newfangled technology. But the young folks, they know how to do it. They can find anything on them phones and computers. It’s a whole different world from when I was growin’ up, that’s for sure.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about this “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes” thing. It’s a show about a wrestler, how he got his name, and how he became famous. If you like wrestling, you might like it. If not, well, there’s plenty of other things to watch, I reckon. Me, I’ll stick to my stories and my garden. That’s more my speed.
Just remember, this Cody fella, he worked hard. He didn’t just sit around waitin’ for things to happen. He went out there and made it happen. And that’s a good lesson for anyone, I think. Whether you’re wrestlin’ or plantin’ tomatoes, you gotta put in the work if you want to see results. That’s just the way it is.
And that’s all I got to say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got chores to do.
